Sit Happens Dog Training

Britnie, the lead trainer is truly amazing, she bonded very well with my puppy. I also witnessed her train a dog that was traumatized and help with socialization. My puppy is now pretty good with obedience and commands. Britnie makes time to answer all behaviour related questions and will brainstorm alternative ways to help with training your puppy after class. My puppy did two levels of training with her and this place is CLEAN (Monica" clean and I mean it)

We signed up for both the puppy socialization classes and beginner obedience training classes at the Georgetown location. My puppy loved the socialization classes. I liked that she was able to socialize with puppies of different sizes and temperments.The basic obedience classes were also very good. We had some initial reservations about using a prong collar, which was suggested by the trainer. However, Julie was very patient, understanding and answered all our questions. We have started to use the collar on our walks and are already seeing improvements. Our puppy has calmed down on the pulling and is much less distracted now.We missed a couple of classes, but were able to keep relatively on track because of the comprehesive class notes provided online after each class.

Sit Happens was an obedience trainer which was mentioned to me by my vet, and so I got in contact with them in the early days of having a puppy to get a small glimpse into what I needed to know about training her into the best puppy she could be and I haven't been disappointed. They have a lot of variety in their programs in order to help enrich the lives of any dogs. My dog has fun while learning the more important things that she will need to know.TLDR: Super friendly, great support, have already recommended to my friends.

My 4 month old Havanese puppy Brindle was the youngest, the smallest and the most friendly and she did great do to the good training provided. The notes that were sent out were very helpful. I was a bit disappointed that we had 3 different trainers during the 6 week class.

Britnie and her team are very knowledgeable. They tailor their training directly to your dog’s needs. She provides great tips and notes. My dog did a complete 180 in a month. He no longer has separation anxiety issues, has more confidence and just does what he is suppose to do without me asking him. In home training is the best way to go and worth the money.I highly recommend Sit Happens for any issue you may have with your pet.

Britnie is amazing. She is very, very good at what she does. She understands dog (and human) behaviour . She quickly assesses your needs and demonstrates how to realistically attain progress. Highly recommend her for your training needs.

My dog Raven and I learned a lot. Previourly i was getting frustrated with her but since taking the class our relationship has really improved. She is MUCH more obedient. She still has some things to work on but i feel equipped with some good strategies to keep working on things. Thank you!!

I cannot recommend Sit Happens enough. My 2 year old dog had so many small but annoying habits (pulling on the leash, excessive barking, jumping up on counter etc) that I had been struggling to get under control for the last two years and Britnie fixed them in the first 15 mins! The trainers provide great advice to continue to train your dog to be the best companion they can be. Very professional, responsive, and super helpful in between sessions. 11/10!

Did the first obedience training program with Julie, we learned so much!Today we took our dog to the Leathertown festival here in Acton, she was calm, listened and we used our leave it" command with other dogs and with food on the ground I'm pleased to say we easily had the best behaved dog walking the festival

Britnie was awesome! With each training session my dog Snowy was developing. Highly recommend for anyone who wants quality training.
