Yuk Yuk's Abbotsford

The show is good but the service was terrible. I understand that Saturdays are very busy, but we had a very large group paying a lot of money. Most of the staff were Very frantic and some unfriendly. Took half an hour to get drinks and an hour for food. There was one server in particular who shoved her hand in my face when I was apparently talking while someone was asking her a question about her drink still not coming. Unacceptable. And no apology. At the end of the night, almost all of our groups' bills were wrong. We had been charged for items we did not order. This of course took a while to sort out after the show was done. This was a huge inconvenience to us, but we tried to be understanding as they were very busy. The final straw was when the same serve who shoved her hand in my face told us we all had to get out now and hurry because the next show was starting soon and people were coming in. It was not our fault that our bills were wrong and we did not want to pay extra money. They did nothing to make us feel better about this fact. Needless to say, although the show was good, I will not be returning for awhile!

I felt bad for comedians. They had some great material but were over shadowed by the obnoxious crowd that was talking over them. The food was good quality for the price, but they the service was pitiful. I waited 40 mins to get a drink and they brought the wrong one. Also, they didnt hand out the bills before the show ended, so waiting to pay my bill after the show was frusterating. The restaurant seems better managed for 30 seats rather than 300.

The comedians were great but it's usually a very small crowd and they don't have hot drinks only cold. And I don't believe it's wheelchair accessible. But me and my friends had a good night and a few good laughs.

Good seating. The chairs are not very comfortable. Not enough waitresses or bar tenders. Everyone was ther to have fun but had to wait and wait for drinks. I finally just walked 5o the bar and got one. If.your gonna serve booze you need to move volume losing money left and right. People were looking around even comments yo the comedian that they couldn't get a drink. Comedians were good. Standard bar deep fried food nothing special

We came out hoping for a fun night, but it turned out to be not much fun at all. The service was good but the show itself was very hard to enjoy. There were people talking during the entire show. The comedians were constantly asking them to be quiet, which did not help. Therefore their jokes were interrupted, it was frustrating for them too.Having staff to deal with this sort of issue would be a great addition. Comedians are paid to entertain, not be the noise police. I am sure we all could have enjoyed the show a lot more if this was addressed right away.

Tonight's comedians were phenomenal!! Many laughs were had. Service was much to be desired. Under staffed and you cannot go to the bar yourself. Thankfully a two day old waitress saved the night and helped us out, much thanks to her. If they bump up their wait staff they'll do a lot better.

We had an enjoyable night. I've read the other reviews and I was a little weary of going here.Obviously, the really bad server from the other reviews, didn't serve us this night but the waitresses definitely need more training and one of our party had a minor altercation with our otherwise decent waitress. It was very uncool for a waitress to claim that her patron misordered when we all heard her order her drinks and it was clearly her mistake. Aside from that... It was fine and the show was great. Where else can you see live entertainment fir 20 bucks a head?That said, the crowd was another story and I suspect that many of the negative reviews may have a lot to do with the type and level of inebriation of the patrons this place attracts.For a Comedy club, this location is ok but it is definitely grungy. It's located in the completely subterranean basement of an old downtown hotel, liquor store etc... And in spite of its decent size, it's low ceilings and closed off feel give it a very claustrophobic feel and if a fire ever happened this place would be a death trap. In this setting, it definitely doesn't attract repeat business from more conservative folks.This place would make a better Jazz Club or Table service night Club or Gentleman's" club. It has that somewhat dirty underground feel to it. Comedy clubs fit decently into this category but the Vancouver location is certainly better in all respects but one... Location... If you live in the Valley and feel secure in your personage it's worth a try. You might like it. Overall

The show was good. But as said before the service was not there. Took almost an hour to get a drink and order food. The girl forgot my drink completely after another hour trying to grab the server finally got my drink. And by the end of the show finally accepted she had forgotten about the platter of food we ordered as well.They need more servers there was only 2 or 3 of them and it was pretty busy to me.

This was an awful experience all around. The service was terrible. The server got us our initial drinks pretty fast, then brought our nachos and then he never came by again. He didn't pick up our plate, we had to stop him and hand it to him and he never came back to get our drink order at all for the rest of the night. We even asked his manager to get him to come over and he still wouldn't. Complete loser. So, i went up to the bar myself, and there was a very incompetent bar tender who couldn't find the Bud light that or the peach cider that I wanted. The nachos were awful by the way. Also, only one of the comedians was funny, the opener was atrocious. Please, save your money and don't go. If there was an option to give no stars or negative stars I would do that!!!!

Went on Aug. 11 2018. Worst night of my life. Gift for our anniversary. The main attraction was just rude. Nasty. And if he's a comdeian thanks but no thanks . I have seen lots. Never heard anyone insult the audience and the venue .so much.or the town and its people. You state your from Vancouver well stay there , or are you not funny there either.....Don't waste your money or your time. You would be better to take up knitting.
