The Perfect Gown

Quite honestly worst experience I have ever had with a bridal shop. I went in with my bridesmaids to find bridesmaids dresses When we arrived we were not greeted and stood around waiting for quite a few minute. While standing there another party voiced that there appointment was supposed to begin 30 minutes prior and the lady at the fronts response was rude and portrayed that she was blaming the party for not voicing why they were there. Following this the same lady then asked us what we were there for and I said that we had an appointment and she said that she thought that we were leaving not coming. After they finally realizing we were there for an appointment she asked the bridesmaids to fill out forms and pointed to where the bridesmaides dresses were. We were never explained designers, sizes, prices or colors. As well the entire time we were in the store we were not assigned a person to help us with our experience nor did any staff introduce them selves to me or my bridal party. When we went to go find dresses none of the dresses were organized by size which made it increasingly difficult to find anything. As well even though they said they carry sizes to 38 there were hardly any in the 18-26range. When the brides maides were put in dressing rooms they split the brides maides up and put one significantly farther away then the other two. While trying on dresses two of my brides maids found pins in their dresses left from previous customers.After trying on a few dresses my bridesmaides felt uncared for and couldn’t find anything we were looking for and we decided to take our business else where.As the bride I felt like the staff were disrespectful to me and my bridal party. Between the lack of help from staff and the rude comments made by staff I would never suggest this shop to anyone.

I am quite disappointed with my trip to Perfect Gown. I had been there with my future SIL when shopping for her wedding dress and it was a fantastic experience! Elaine was wonderful! Today was a completely different story… they were over booked, put myself and my bridal party in a dim changing room at the back, and, initially, there was no where to walk out to look at the dresses. I had to change with my bridal party right there too. The consultant was so abrasive, didn’t listen to what I was wanting, kept pushing dresses on me, and talked and suggested alterations on every dress I tried on. It was SO overwhelming I couldn’t even give myself time to think. The fact the consultant didn’t even tell me their name I think is telling… she had glasses, wore a mask, and light orange/brassy curled hair. I really appreciate the lady doing the meticulous pinning of dresses, but it took a lot of time and didn’t need to be done on dresses I didn’t like… but me saying that was disregarded. I also overheard the consultant trying to whisper with the pinning lady and not always being pleasant about the dresses I liked and didn’t like. I found a dress I liked there but the consultant is the reason I won’t buy from them. Also, I drove all the way there from Brandon...

I had the best experience at the Perfect Gown! The owner opened up the store for me and my mom & sisters on a day they were closed to make it work with our schedules. She was amazing and super helpful, helping me try on every dress, making sure it looked it’s best before I went out to show my family, and offering encouragement and opinions when I asked. I will be referring this store to all my friends. She was patient, the store had TONS of options, and we were able to choose the right one and get it ordered within 90 minutes. Not pushy; extremely laid back and knowledgeable.

I am happy to say I said yes to the dress at the perfect gown this weekend! The service is amazing and I find they go above and beyond here. Their selection of dresses I was able to try on way huge compared to other stores and their friendly service makes the experience even better! You will never be judged shopping here and I recommend everyone checking out this place for their bridal needs, especially if you our a bit self conscious! I cannot say enough good things about Joanne and her store. As a (very) plus sized bride, dress shopping is what I dreaded the most because most stores don't carry a sample bigger than a size 12-16 or simply can't even order in a dress larger than a 28.I reached out to Joanne prior and sent her my measurements and she assured me there would be dresses I could try on.She was not kidding!! I think I must have tried on at least 10 dresses?? I lost count after 5!My experience today with Joanne was so positive, fun, safe and just AMAZING!The dressing rooms are very spacious and HAVE A FAN!!!!! It is a workout getting in and out of some of those big dresses, so the fan was a pleasant addition.There is a wide variety of styles and prices in dresses. She even has a line exclusive to her store - they are stunning!!!10/10 would recommend!!

I don't think I could give enough praise to this dress store.Going in to wedding dress shopping as a plus size woman can sometimes be a daunting, exhausting experience, depending on your outlook and your own personal relationship with your body.The moment I stepped into The Perfect Gown the entire atmosphere felt so welcoming. It was a store that was designed with someone like me specifically in mind, and I felt so comfortable. The amount of options in the variety of styles available made me feel normal" when I'd had a hard time feeling that way at a previous wedding dress shopping trip.The owner is so kind and helpful

My experience at The Perfect Gown was absolutely amazing and couldn’t have gone any better. This was my first stop on my list, and I left with my dream dress, which was the second one I tried on. The selection of sizes and styles they had was truly amazing as I was nervous of finding a dress that could fit my body nicely and make me happy in it. Elaine worked with me and she instantly learned my personality, what I liked and didn’t like, made me feel 100% comfortable in everything I put on, and didn’t try to push me in a direction I wasn’t looking for. I would absolutely recommend making this your first stop if you’re looking for a range of sizes and want the best service!

Went with my sister to pick a wedding dress- what a WONDERFUL experience! Such lovely people and atmosphere. Cannot say enough good things about this shop. Made you feel like the most important person in the world- 11/10. Would recommend to anyone shopping for a wedding or grad dress!

This store is AMAZING! I left dress shopping until the last minute (bridal dress shopping timelines). Joanne and her staff were so kind throughout the whole process. One of the ladies actually picked a dress for me that I never would’ve picked myself and it turned out to be the one! Incredible selection! Alterations were a breeze and they were kind enough to store it until a few days before the wedding so I could ensure nothing would happen to it. Wish all shopping was this easy!
