Andy came by to inspect the efficiency of the heating and cooling in our home and provided the most comprehensive assessment and honest advice I've ever received. I give Poulsen 5 stars in regards to this experience and will call them first for any future service.

Would totally recommend this company to anyone. Came out within 24 hours and installed the unit. The installers were so nice and worked so hard to get us up and running. So impressed.

Excellent, friendly service performed by Rob this morning on our furnace and fireplace. I cannot say enough about his courteous performance patience and friendly advice. With knowledgeable staff like Rob, I would be most happy to return to Poulsen's for future heating or air conditioning requirements!

Without Prejudice. They need to take the time to tell the customer what they have done. The work done was Excellent. I was told they would install a Fisher Furnance & Air Conditioner. They installed a Goodman. A more expensive Furnance/Air Contitioner. The Rent to own Corp. Contract with Vista in Ottawa. If I payed it off today would be well over $12,000.00. (Installation of the Furnance/A.C is about $4,000.00 exstra) For a winter cover on the A.C. An exstra charge of over $50.00. Maintenance extra.I originally asked them to repair my old central air conditioner! She told me it was cheaper to go NEW. I should have repair the old unit. I pay $112.99 per month. 11.9% interest now to Vista. and the interest goes up 2.5% each year, till the bills paid, 120 monthes from May 13,2015. The cost is exoreitant. PICKY PEOPLE SHOULD RUN LIKE HELL FROM POULSEN!

Booked appointment for 3pm; 3:20 rolls around and tech has not arrived, and no communication from the company. Call the company to get an update, rep says 'well, I said around 3pm, that could mean 2:30 that could mean 3:30pm.' Um, no, you didn't give me a 'window'. You said 3pm. Sure, a buffer of around 10 minutes or so. But if you are going to be beyond that, you let the client know, you provide an update.'Well, we had a bunch of emergencies so things get backed up.' Yes, I understand that, but you can still contact your clients and provide an update. Yes, I understand things come up...but none of this was mentioned at call booking.'Well, to me 20 minutes isn't late.' Again, make sure you explain everything when the call is booked, not change the rules of the game on the fly.If you tell me these things at the outset, then I'll understand. But When you force me to deal with these things on the spot, while my wife waits at home with our baby, that's when it becomes an issue.

They sold me an AC unit in September 2019 and although I spent thousands of dollars on it, I basically got 2 summers out of it. When I asked Angie for a copy of the warranty, she blew me off. Then she told me she would send it (I knew she wouldn’t!!) because she is rude and highly unprofessional. I refused to use them because they installed a shoddy fireplace and I had them take it out! Zero customer service and never take any type of accountability.

Ten years ago, when there was a government rebate available, I called Poulson to come out and give me a quote on a new boiler. The guy was honest enough to tell me my boiler was fine and didn’t need replacing. I swore if I ever needed to call an HVAC repair I would call Poulson again. Well this week my boiler wouldn’t fire up so I called and had them send someone out. Again, the technician was so professional and honest, serviced my boiler, cleaned up afterward, we’re warm again and the bill was fair. I am just so impressed with this company I will be telling everyone I know what great service they provide. I won’t ever be calling anyone else for hvac install or service.

I highly recommend Poulsen’s for heating and air condition service and installation and service. Calls are answered or immediately returned 24/7 by Angie; not an answering machine where you wonder if and when your call will be returned. Angie is wonderful and keeps you updated when to expect their arrival and monitors if they’re running ahead/or behind giving you updates. I’ve used Poulsen’s for several years and appreciate that Robb takes the time to explain what needs to be fixed and why. There is never any pressure to install a new system but when the time came for a new furnace and air conditioner, all options and rebates were explained with no pressure and prices were more than competitive. With such excellent, reliable service offered my extended family and I will always call Poulsen’s first.
