EDIT: The store manager called me and offered to remake the blind after coming to my home with fabric swatches so that I can choose a fabric that works best in my window with the lighting conditions I have. This is EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE and demonstrates a store that stands behind its product and services. Thank you, Flooring Canada!+++++++++++++++I wanted to buy blinds for my home and saw the 50% off sale advertised on the sign outside the store. I decided to support a local business instead of going with one of the many online blind sellers. I purchased two roller blinds with installation. I wanted a light-filtering blind for my front window to give privacy, but to also let some light into the room. Now that it's installed, I absolutely detest the color. I chose a light grey color blind, but did not realize or understand that because it has translucency, the light filtering through it dramatically changes the color that appears during daylight. So instead of having a light grey blind in my window (a cool tone) to go with my decor, it's a beige color (a warm tone). To me, it clashes and looks terrible. When I intially visited the store, I told the Flooring Canada sales rep that I knew next-to-nothing about blinds and was looking for guidance. I did not receive any guidance for choosing a color (other than being shown the options) and was not informed that light changes the color. To me, it would make much more sense to have the customer take home color swatches and have them put the swatch in the window to see how it looks in actual daylight conditions. Had I known that the fabric changes color in lighting conditions, I would have asked to do this (and I would not have chosen the fabric that I did). Although Flooring Canada came to my house to double-check my window measurements, this service was not offered and it easily could have been when the rep was measuring my windows. I think I would be much happier with my purchase had I been fully informed about light filtration and its impact on color. Now, I have a custom blind, that is not returnable, in a color that I do not like. Next time, I will be using an online blind seller as they offer in-home consultations, offer to mail out free fabric swatches in advance, and provide more information (videos, which I watched AFTER this experience) to the consumer.Don't get me wrong: The quality of the blinds is great and the price was competitive with online sellers. My issue is more about the ordering process and the explanation of how the blind will look in the window was inadequate. This aspect of the sale could be improved to ensure better customer satisfaction. My advice: if you choose to use Flooring Canada for blinds, make sure you ask lots of questions and insist on an in-home consultation.I wish I had.

Hi Everyone, if you looking to purchase any flooring products or wall products, look no further. Over the past few months, we have been working primarily with Jodi Scholten (Design and Sales Consultant) who certainly knows her design and colours. She worked very closely with my wife to make everything look awesome. Pics attached do no justice. Also, during this time, we communicated with Ben Van Ittersum (Sales Manager) who certainly understands Customer Service and how to treat people as they want to be treated. These two people are certainly not new to keeping their customers happy.I would strongly recommend going here before looking elsewhere.

The installers did a great job...the results were perfect. They always left the work area tidy. I would use them again.

Wonderful experience at Flooring Canada. From the moment I walked into the store, I was greeted with kindness and design expertise. The lady immediately led me to several floor tile choices that would go with my previously picked out shower tile, and I loved them all. Later when I was going to place my order, Aletta went above and beyond to get the shipping fee waived. Very happy with the customer service and with the end result in our master ensuite!

I worked with Aletta at Flooring Canada for my whole house. She was very thorough in showing option and knowing flooring specs. Her degree in design helped with making sure all my flooring and tile worked and complimented. Flooring Canada has a VERY large variety of flooring and tile for literally any budget or need. I loved working with them. My home looks absolutely stunning. We had Tony do all our instal, his work is clean and precise. Highly recommend!!
