Unreal trip to Italy - amazing hikes, food, and views. A once in the lifetime trip, with access to a local community that hasn’t been discovered by tourists yet. The family ties karibu has here allow for the best experience!

Alta Valsesia is steeped in hiking history. Centuries old trails, these are the roads of the Walsers. Karibu led me on these to breathtaking views. Fresh local food served at properly set tables was enjoyed immensely while watching herders cutting hay and tending to their animals. The majesty of the Monte Rosa as the backdrop. Unmatched. Highly recommend it!!

A Piece of Heaven!Alagna Valsesia is one of the most beautiful quaint villages in Northern Italy we have ever visited. Hiking the mountains with the incredible history and old authentic chalets was worth the travel. The village was friendly and it provided easy access to the gondolas so we could adventure to another town. We enjoyed every minute and can't wait to go back again. See you soon Alagna ❤ "

The trip to Alagna was one our favorite trips of all time. The hiking and mountain scenery was some this most incredible we have ever experienced. The town of Alagna and the regions around were felt like a step back into another time, with the slate roofs and wooden structures. Cannot wait to go back again!!!

Was it the majesty of the paddling landscape, the personalized attention from our gracious young guide (he portaged ALL the canoes, cooked every meal, and even sang at campfire!) or the offer of wine and appies upon our arrival at the lodge, I am not sure - but suffice it to say that the experience was unforgettable (did I mention the sauna?)! Definitely an experience to repeat.

Italy is great pretty much wherever you go, though Alagna is an experience unlike what you usually find in Italy. It remains a fairly pristine Alpine spot, though you'll find all you need to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. And, it's Italy, so the food and drink are next level, regardless where you go!!

Wanted to share the fabulous experience I had with a few girlfriends canoeing in the Temagami area in August. The wild beauty and serenity of the landscape was a balm to my soul! But so was the physical work of canoe camping. Both were invigorating. Having the comforts of a sauna, cabin, lodge and good food bookending the trip, was perfect. Our guide was charming and very knowledgeable. We trusted him to guide us safely through the wilderness, and to find those hidden portages! I would return in a flash.
