The venue and staff were amazing for our wedding day. They were very helpful in bringing our vision to life and helpful setting up tables, chairs, audio equipment, etc. just note that if you are planning a wedding you will have to organize your own vendors. Thank you, SAIB Staff for going above and beyond to make our day special!

Beautiful space and great for events. It was easy to find, there was lots of parking space and covid protocol measures was followed.Would love to see this space transformed for other events. I specifically attended for the Culinary Market. It was clean and had a lot of art installations around with descriptions, which I liked.

Small Arms Inspection Building (SAIB)
The Small Arms Inspection Building (a former military building) is a very nice exhibition space for a wide variety of uses.In my photo example is where a small side room exhibited war torn doors shipped in from besieged Ukraine, with photography posted into the main space.Other events like weddings, industry exhibits, art shows or photo and video shoots are often held in the climate controlled main space.The facilities are clean and modern, with accessible features, and there’s even a front desk staff and appealing front entrance that offsets the otherwise industrial look of the main space.

There was a farmers market in this building today. There were some farm produced items like mushrooms, maple syrup, hot sauces, beer, sour dough, baked items, sausages etc and was very nice experience.

Came here for the Sunday Farmer's market. Had a great time! Everything is so fresh and tasty. I recommend the Hot Sauces, they are all legitimately very tasty and the guy lets you sample all of them before choosing what to buy. Had a lovely time

I had never even heard of this place until I went to check out the Lakeview farmers market. If you're wondering why the building has such a strange name: the Small Arms Inspection Building was designed in 1940. It was used as a large munitions plant for the Canadian Army through the Second World War until 1974"It's a large event venue

Antique show on 26th November, 2022. Next antique show at the building is on a Sunday, 15th January, 2023, 9.00am--5.00pm. Lots of parking spaces. Free entrance to the antique show.
