Decent gym but they hold the monopoly here and charge accordingly.Acquiring kettle bells and fixing their prices would help to obtain higher star rating. I called and was told 28$ (which is just under the price of major gyms with pools and saunas and kettle bells) but then i ask if i can pay for a year out right and was told that wasn't a problem but it would be $800. 3x the rate if i paid per month. I was also told i could renew my membership at any point in my life when i sadly had to cancel because i was overseas for a spell. Had it on freeze but was away for too long and mutually decided to end it and renew it when i came back. This apparently was not the case. Honestly with the misinformation i have been given on several occasions it's lucky to be a 3 star right now. I opened an account opening day for this location and had a great deal. Which is why i am assuming they refused to follow through with their words at the time.

I had a great time here the last time I visited and the coaches were super friendly! I also loved how clean and sanitary all the equipment was. Can't wait to go back again!

The club is kept really clean the staff is very knowledgeable and the fellow members make me feel comfortable inside the gym. You can see that it is a community based gym that really wants you to be the best person you can be. I would highly recommend it to someone who wants a comfortable atmosphere that is very supportive.

Terrible staff, Ken in particular was awful. They lie to you and lock you into a contract they purposely misrepresent when they explaining to you. Do yourself a favor and do not join this gym.

Update - I received a call from one of the franchise owners. She has taken ownership of the inappropriate e-mail sent by Ken. It is agreed that he behaved in a manner that was unprofessional. She explained that the fees need to be paid by them on my behalf to Anytime Fitness and that with financial strain from the pandemic she just doesn't have the funds available to make final payments for people. She indicated that she would have liked all member to be contacted regularly to keep them engaged (which would also keep them highly aware of the fact that they were still paying) but that with minimal staff they had to streamline and that was something they opted to stop doing. I believe the owner truly does care about customers and the business. I believe this was just a tough situation caused by an employing inappropriately lashing out and its unfortunate that this hurt the business reputation overall. After the pandemic began I e-mailed asking to cancel and was convinced that putting my account on freeze was a better choice as I would have to pay out my contract regardless. After the freeze ended, and my contract ended I didn't realize that the charges continued. I understand now that my agreement stated the membership would renew biweekly or monthly following the expiry. (update - this automatic renewal was an option you could check on the agreement and I am not clear on whether or not I checked it off yet) While I requested a refund if possible, I understand that this was my mistake. I have asked to cancel now and was advised that per the agreement I needed to pay for 2 more months. I have not been to the gym since COVID shut downs started, I have more or less donated funds to them which I am sure was helpful during the struggles to the business during the shut downs. Now to add insult to injury the Coaching and Sales manager, Ken has indicated that I signed the contract which states a 60 day notice for cancellation and I understand your frustration

I became a member in July of 2021 and still currently using the facility. I love that it’s a small gym but still has everything you need. I have made great progress here.

Contract wants you to give them 60 day notice of cancellation this is the one way of ripping someone … AF did not refund when they kept charging us during covid did not allowed showers and spa’s and kept charging full service money while providing the half service … never ever ever ever signing back to any anytime fitness location.. there are many cheap fitness clubs gyms around go and save your money and hassle … 60 days wow

This gym offers an average workout experience. Gym could benefit from new barbells, not the existing warped one we currently use. Better maintenance of existing machines.
