I went to the restaurant to place a takeout order, and the lady told me it would be 15 minutes. I came back 15 minutes later and she told me it would be another 20 minutes. I understand that this happens, but she She was very short with me, and ordered me to sit by the door. The food itself was OK, but the avocados they used were brown (way overdue) and the crab in the California roll had a weird taste to it — almost like a urinal puck.Plus, it was expensive! For this price, they should use at least avocados that are not rotten.I will not be ordering if from this restaurant again.

Fairly priced lunch combo considering the location of the restaurant. Well decorated and the place is usually quiet. Not bad for a business lunch or dine out.

If I could give zero stars I would have done it. We were the only table and there wasn’t anyone else in the restaurant. Above our table there was a swarm of flies doing circles which was a clear sign to evade the restaurant, which we sadly missed.The waitress who was serving us was super rude. By the end of our dinner when it was time to pay, we were trying to calculate the tip. Without waiting us to finish she came over and started lecturing us about the tipping culture in Canada. Upon this rude interaction we decided it was appropriate not to tip. She than starting asking us where we were from, insinuating that we are uncultured and not wanted in the restaurant. She even had the nerve to ask if we knew what tipping meant.No matter what the situation was, we are not her friends, we were there as customers and expected to be spoken in a professional manner. I hope the manager is aware how this particular woman treats the people she serves.

It was nice to try this place with a Groupon because it allows you to try a full range of items. Even though the portion and variety was decent, the quality can definately use some improvement. The sashimi was served frozen and icy. The dessert was most probably the best thing out of the bunch.

I love the design of the restaurant and the service has been friendly however considering how many sushi places their are in the area I can't say there was anything really amazing here that I ate. I will say though there is nothing wrong with this place. I would eat here again and will continue to try more items and hopefully find something I really enjoy.I had the beef teriyaki lunch box which was OK 6/10. I liked the portion and the potato croquette was great. The Salmon Auburi was also okay 6/10 as well as the salmon crunch California roll* 6/10 but the salmon sashimi wasn't that great 4.5/10

The decor and atmosphere were rather interesting! The waitress serving us was exceptional as she was friendly, made us feel welcome, and checked in on us often. It was my first time visiting a sushi restaurant and trying sushi, and I was quite impressed. The food was delicious, and I was glad to see that there were plenty of vegetarian options. I will definitely be coming back!

They took over from another older establishment and was glad they keptmy favorite ceiling bubble lamps. High ceiling perfect for these vintage lamps. Service was very good and attentive. Tried so many sushiand most of them very good.Presentation were beautiful .I liked the mackerel, grilled to perfection and came with lovely greens. All in all, recommendable.

Restaurant has a modern sophisticated vibe. Chopsticks are plastic but they are presented in paper sleeves, which is a nice touch. No plastic plates or cups here.Sushi options are the typical variety you find elsewhere. Fish and other ingredients were fresh, even the daikon strings were crunchy and sweet. Presentation was nothing surprising except for the volcano roll, that was served on a hot plate, which melted the cheese and gave it a slightly crisp texture, which I like.The highlight of our dinner was the fried ice cream. We didn't get to choose the flavor. The not so friendly, but not rude server, said it will be random. Sweetness level was low to just right. The creamy mango ice cream mated with the crunchy outer shell was delight in my mouth.Overall I would give them 3.5 stars, but Google doesn't have that option.

Stopped here on a whim as I was hungry while running errands. Super high ceiling gives a more spacious feel and natural light.The sake menu is impressive and the food was good. I'm glad I stopped in.
