We were pleased with the excellent and punctual service of thestaff that looked after us.. They worked quietly and proficiently as they packaged or wrapped the furniture to protect it. They madeevery effort to leave the premises clean and tidy before leaving.

Excellent experience! I chose McWilliams for my recent move, because I was familiar with the name. I wanted a reputable company that had been in business for a long time....there are so many moving company scams and I wanted to avoid any problems. What a great choice!! McWilliams were wonderful to deal with from start to finish. Peter was professional and gave me an accurate quote, and Kathleen responded to all my questions promptly. My movers were FABULOUS!! Mike, Tristan, Chris and Jamie were friendly, organized, careful and professional! I was so stressed out, but they took charge and looked after everything. They packed things I had forgotten about, and were very careful with my furniture...they took the beds and tv apart, and set it all back up again...amazing. Absolutely first rate guys who did a tremendous job. Thanks so much!! I highly recommend this company....moving is very stressful and McWilliams make it worry free.

I recently moved out of our family home which had over three floors of furniture and boxes. I was so impressed with the handle, care and speed of the McWilliams team. The team of movers were very polite, professional and had great attitudes. The McWilliams team made our experience way better then I ever imagined. We were extremely happy with this moving company. From the first call to ask for a quote to the final delivery, they were prompt in responding, professional and the drivers were extremely helpful. We would highly recommend this company with without hesitation. 5 star!!

Our movers arrived on time (early actually). They were friendly and moved our belongings with ease. We were moving to two different locations and they even remembered what boxes and articles belonged to each person without confusion. Our belongs were itemized for storage. They handled our belongings with care and wrapped all our items to ensure they were transported safely. Would recommend McWilliams!!

I have moved 3 times with McWilliams and my last experience was horrible. I paid for the replacement value insurance.There were a number of damaged items, so I filed a claim.They took months to reply and after numerous calls and emails, they finally sent a cheque for a couple of items. (I could not cash the cheque, because it referenced full and final payment)They then picked up a number of pieces that they were going to repair (apparently they have that option). I have waited 7 months and my items have not been returned, nor have they responded to my emails. Not only have I not been compensated for the damaged items, they have taken my furniture and not returned it.DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY!

They were fantastic!! From walking through and giving us a quote to moving us so carefully. I’m so impressed with all the staff I met. Nice to know we have such a great moving company in Peterborough, one that we can trust

Moved 3 bedroom house June 2022. The move was perfect and we had more movers than what we expected. Very fast and efficient. We have booked another small move to NS with them 5/5

We just used McWilliams Moving. All of the crew was professional, hardworking, sought our input and were extremely careful. They worked hard and asked where items were supposed to go. Our household items were picked up in Brighton, Ontario and delivered two days later to Leamington, Ontario. Thanks Chad and Jamie and the rest of the crew! Our ping pong table did not fit in the basement so we disassembled it but they held the pieces so nothing broke and could be taken down to the basement and reassembled. Great value for service. They belong to the Canadian Association of Movers who had great tips for packing and the highest standards.Amanda answered questions and David McWilliams was great. We would use them again in a heartbeat.

Another outstanding job by the team at McWilliams. I am so impressed with the care and professionalism by the team of movers that helped us move from one city to another. Moving can be a stressful time but the McWilliams team put my mind at ease and blew me away with their customer service. I am so impressed and highly recommend their services to anyone moving. Their services are worth every penny!!
