Rocky Point Public Boat Launch
Great place to launch your boat. It’s busy on weekends and holidays but if you’re there in the morning there’s rarely anyone around. The park and facilities are all wonderful.

Rocky Point Public Boat Launch
Make sure bringing your PHYSICAL ID with PHOTO. I booked a table on Sunday and brought my foreign friend who has BC temporary ID (no photo) and digital copy of her passport. We were refused. We understood their strictness (only at this place) of the COVID - 19 proof of vaccination. But we did not see the point and we were rather disappointed.

This is a good boat ramp, can get very busy in summer. The docks are excellent and can be used to park up on while you visit PaJo's or The Boat House from your boat. We often come here from North Van on a summer's evening. There is no fishing here, so no problems getting caught on crab traps

It can be a little dicey at low tides but the launch is at the right pitch and there is room on either side to pull up and temporarily park.
