As far as large grocery stores go, this one is great. Some items are hit or miss if they'll have them in stock but generally we can find everything we need there. I enjoy collecting the Air Miles too!

I prefer it to Superstore but it's not my favorite Sobeys.

A well kept store with all your grocery essentials. It is an older Sobeys so it's layout and product supply is not as up to date as some of the Sobeys stores in the Halifax area. Despite that, it does carry a few nifty items that you might encounter at a Pete's Frootique. Great service, both friendly and helpful.The deli department has a nice selection of fine rice salads, sandwiches and meats. A good spot if you need a nutritional meal in a pinch.The only complaint I have with the Sobeys franchise (as a whole) is the prices of their products and the way they market supply in comparison to other competitors such as Superstore. At Sobeys items on sale are displayed as 2 for $4.98 each". As opposed to Superstore where it would be just 2 for $4.98. And when something is on a sale it isn't that significant. Great shop, friendly staff! Lines can get long. With the recent staff shortages etc I am surprised there isn't a self check option.

Love the staff here. Very friendly and helpful. Prices aren't too bad with the prices of groceries now, love the variety. The bakery is awesome. The cakes are the best.

Not my grocery store of choice but had a giftcard to use. Thought I would pick up a few extras for the holidays like candies and some fresh fruit. Well the Christmas candy was just all over the store not in any particular area. And the prices! I just don't get why folks shop here. As an example strawberries were about 6 bucks...same berries at the other grocery, 1.99. Saw lots of items like this.
