Highly recommend Shingo for your Japanese car repairs. Not only is he excellent as his job, he's a really nice man, honest, reliable and comes through in a crunch. He helped us out when our Honda Prelude sprung a major oil leak last Christmas, and I've also taken my Subaru for him to service. Very reasonable prices and he explains things well.

Just had my oil change here for my civic, very fast and reliable service. I paid the price quoted to me on the phone, honest mechanic. I’ll be coming here for future work, and I recommend this place as well.Edit: had a nail in my tire a few weeks ago and came here to get it fixed. I was ready to go after 10 minutes and was quoted $23. I stand by original review: fast, reliable, and honest. Highly recommend still!

I just moved to the burnaby area and WOW.. My best experience by far having done my oil change and extremely happy that i finally found somewhere that i can come to regularly to have service done. A super quick in and out without the mechanic trying to sell you all that extra stuff and thats the part i always dread. Mechanic is super polite, and very quick. I am VERY happy that this spot was recommended to me and surely I will be telling everyone I know to come here. Thank you so much!!!

Very knowledgeable and responsive, and service is quick. Brought my Acura RSX Type-S for brake caliper replacement and very happy with the service. So happy that I referred someone else to Shingo, and received the same quality and speed of service. If you own a Japanese car and want better than dealer service at a cheaper rate, bring your car here. Don't bring your car to Burrard Acura, bring it here! You could likely get cheaper repairs elsewhere, but it might be done by some kid who only has a small fraction of experience as Shingo.
