Clive and Kirsten are such a great resource for any home buyer, I highly recommend reaching out to them if you are looking for a property on the southern island. They are incredibly professional, responsive, and knowledgeable, providing great feedback and opinions about each property we viewed – an added bonus they were a lot of fun to house hunt with! Clive and Kirsten were prompt at answering our many calls/emails/questions. They work and communicate incredibly well together, if we asked one a question, they were both aware and able to answer interchangeably. We were coming from a different country and they clearly walked us through the differences in the process. They were thoughtful at asking what was important to us and based on that pointing out what to look at during our search (especially since we were unfamiliar with the area). They went above and beyond to work with us and our small kids in tow (they thoughtfully scheduled in seamless transitions and fun breaks for the kids between viewings). Being a member of the Canadian Forces purchasing a house involves certain unique challenges that most home buyers don’t necessarily have to face. I was given a week to travel to Victoria/Sooke to find a place before my official move with my family and all our belongings less than 2 months later. Needless to say, I had to find a realtor who was competent, trustworthy and most of all, caring. Having done my homework, I settled on a handful of agents who I interviewed early on in my trip, however it was by chance that I got to know Clive when I walked through an open house that he was hosting. That house didn’t strike a chord with me, but having spent that little bit of time with Clive, I knew he was the man I wanted to work with to find our ideal place.A day later Clive and Kirsten showed us the home that we fell in love with and then the hard work of finalizing the purchase began. The next day I had to return to my place of duty in Quebec not knowing who was going to do my home inspection, wood stove's WETT Inspection or which lawyer to trust to close the deal. Clive and Kirsten got to work the moment we finished the viewing, drafting the purchase contract and having us review everything via email from the hotel. They were working with the sellers' agent well into the night as I remember signing the final draft of the contract at around 11pm.Besides helping us find home inspectors and a lawyer and even making the inspection appointments for us, from the moment I met Clive until we received the keys, we felt that Clive and Kirsten had dedicated their professional lives to making sure our purchase went smoothly and we got the best deal without errors, surprises or delays. They would reply to my minutest of inquiries promptly and follow up with the sellers to get answers or resolve any issues even after I had forgotten about them.Clive and Kirsten each have their strengths and when you go with one, you get the team. What else can you ask for from a professional team like the Greenaways?

I have been using Greenaway for just over a year now. The first tenant we had was not good (to say the least). Their credit check came in ok and all the references checked out (but how good are references really)? But Chris King at Greenaway kept on top of these tenants, inspection after inspection and luckily the tenant (who I believe is not used to be supervised so heavily) decided to move out. We found a new family who has moved in and Greenaway asked me if I'd like to join the first inspection (which I did). Being a little scared after our first (problem) tenant, I was worried about any new tenant. Chris and I went through the place and what a breath of fresh air, the new tenants we chose together are clean and actually care about how they live and the condition of the home. A great improvement and my home is in much better hands thanks to Chris King and Greenaway's work. Muchly appreciated.

Kirsten and Clive went way above and beyond! They were first my property managers and with them I had wonderful service. They kept the tenants very happy. They were professional and dealt with all situations right away and with minimal expense to myself. We had an issue with utilities and right away they spoke with the tenant and they worked with both of us so that in the end we were all happy with the result. That was just one example of how wonderful they were as property managers.When I decided to sell my house there was no doubt for me that I was going to choose them as my realtors. They thought of everything before I could…they had the house cleaned before showings, took great photos, did a detailed write up and more. They always kept me updated and they made sure that I was always kept in the loop before and after showings. They got me the price I wanted in under 2 weeks!! No conditions and a quick closing!!They didn’t stop there though, they were still there for me through the entire process before closing…And let’s just say it was a very interesting two weeks that they had to come to the rescue a few times. They truly treat each client like family and never make you feel alone or confused in the process. Im just so impressed with the whole experience with them, they really are into the details and they made sure that everything was up-to-date and looking good with my house before I sold it and then they made sure that the process of selling was as painless as it could be.
