Delayed both ways on our round trip from Vancouver to Calgary (2 hours and 7 respectively). 10 dollarfood vouchers as compensation way after dinner hours. I get it's a budget airline but I expect better! Avoid this company and book a more established airline.

$75 for a carry on bag, when it’s $75 for a checked bag. Ridiculous. It’s literally never worth it to fly with Lynx. It’s always cheaper to pay for the better airline that actually provides carry on cause you’ll end up spending more with Lynx just to get your luggage. So worse service + more money.Also, staff is terrible, rude, overworked. Check in process doesn’t work. You have to check in online or it costs you money, but when you do the website is so glitchy it doesn’t let you print the pass.Customer support is non-existent. Waited 30 minutes on the phone till it abruptly ended the call on me.Garbage company that provides garbage service. Save yourself the headache and avoid this airline.

We flew Lynx Air on March 16, 2023, YYC to LAX and March 21 2023 LAX to YYCBoth flights were smooth, with no delays and no extra charges.Friendly helpful staff.Dont forget to charge your electronics before boarding and grab some snacks and coffee, and you will be a happy flyer.We will be flying again soon.Thank you, Lynx Air ✈️

Dreadful Airline Experience with Lynx Air - Beware!I had the misfortune of booking a flight with Lynx Air recently, and I must say it was a complete nightmare from start to finish. If you value your time, sanity, and overall travel experience, I highly recommend avoiding Lynx Air at all costs.First and foremost, the lack of proper notification about flight cancellations was truly infuriating. I arrived at the airport, excited about my trip, only to find out that my Lynx Air flight had been abruptly canceled. To make matters worse, I hadn't received any prior communication from the airline regarding this cancellation. It was an absolute inconvenience and left me feeling stranded and utterly frustrated.The customer service provided by Lynx Air was shockingly abysmal. After discovering my flight was canceled, I approached the customer service desk seeking assistance. Not only were the staff unhelpful and disinterested, but their response time was unbelievably slow. I was forced to wait in an excessively long line while my precious time ticked away. It was clear that they were understaffed and ill-prepared to handle such situations.After what felt like an eternity, I finally reached the customer service representative. To my astonishment, their attitude was indifferent and lacked any empathy towards my predicament. They seemed disinterested in finding a suitable solution or even offering an apology for the inconvenience caused. The level of unprofessionalism displayed by the staff was utterly unacceptable.Ultimately, the solution" provided by Lynx Air was nothing short of a nightmare. They informed me that the earliest available flight they could offer was a staggering five days later! Can you imagine? I had to rearrange my entire schedule

Never again with this cheap airline. I booked a round trip from hamilton to Calgary for 8 people. 4 weeks before that flight date lynx decided to move our return flight for 2 days!!!! Yes from Monday to Wednesday. Not only they messed up our itinerary but then the portion of the money was not never refunded or issued back. Lynx does not refund your hard earned money to the fullest. From $480 that is my refund i only received a credit for 250 and another credit for $150. I called them twice and i am supposed to get an etransfer for the remaining??? Why don’t you just returned all the money at once???Now today the is the departure date with lynx and once we have to change our trip itinerary finding other airlines to do our return flight. Lynx have decided to delayed our departure flight for 3 hours.Never again with this cheap ripoff airline

Flight to LA delayed 40 min. (Westjet was 1 hour late leaving Calgary). Not bad. Flight home, got an email that morning flight delayed two hours... ok stuff happens. Get to the airport, low and behold, another two hour delay. 4 hour delay. Got home late with grumpy kids.All staff was extremely professional.Will I fly with Lynx again? Honestly it'll depend on price. I want to support the new little guys, but patience was running thin.

There is no option to give a zero star, but that's what Lynx Air deserves. We had a flight from Vancouver to Montreal. First the flight was delayed by 4 hours and then because of bad weather it got diverted to Hamilton, ON. Don't blame the airline for the bad weather but the way they handled after that was quite appalling. From 8pm till 1:15am in the night we waited first inside the aircraft and then at the airport. Then we were boarded on a 'Bacardi' kinda bus for a 7-8 hours drive. At 1:49am local time we are still to start the ride. AVOIDDDDDDDDD Lynx Air at all costs

Avoid at all costs! I cannot back up the other reviews enough , terrible similar experience. Almost all the flights get delayed. Do not book with Lynx if you are traveling by air for time sensitive (Ironically Lynx air transport does not help) or important events. All the flights with them were delayed, one flight delayed more than 5hrs, demolishing my important travel purpose. But they do not respect Air Passenger Protection Regulations, not accommodating the passenger for delay accordingly. Moreover, the customer service is terrible, no remorse, disinterested to do their job as customer service. I wonder what the company is doing with all these complaints and awful reputation sitting around as a new air carrier. I wish CTA take proper actions against these disrespectful airline operations.

WORST AIRLINE. If you have checked bags, avoid them at all costs. They lost all my family’s bags on a direct flight from Toronto to Orlando. Once the flight lands all the staff disappear and are impossible to find. It took 3 days for my luggage to appear in Orlando, but they never called me. I knew because of my AirTags. Nobody at customer service will answer the phone, only by chat. They are equally unhelpful, and insist on you communicating directly with their baggage team with a web based “portal”. The baggage team consistently ignored my messages and questions. My only solution was to physically go to the airport on their next flight 5 days after and track down a staff member. THEY WILL ABANDON YOU AND OFFER NO REFUND. Our entire trip was destroyed with stress and emergency shopping. I write this at Orlando International still waiting for someone to help.
