Ferris Wheel Press

I've ordered from this company three or four times now. Two fountain pens, two notebooks, and an embarrassing amount of ink. The quality of everything is fantastic, always packaged securely so nothing gets damaged in transit. I had issues with minor shipping delays my first order, but other than that everything has been smooth sailing. Lament for my poor savings account because I will inevitably be drawn back to buy yet another fancy ink from this place!Photos of one of my pens (forgive my poor handwriting, I'm a work in progress).

I'm no fountain pen connoisseur, but I love the novelty of this brand as a whole. I ordered the carousel fountain pen and a bottle of ink. Unfortunately, the barrel of my pen was cracked and I was unable to close it, but Amanda at customer service was quick to address my problem and send over a whole new pen, free of charge. There's nothing I appreciate more from a company than good customer service and being able to speak to a REAL person. Aside from that, everything feels decent quality, though I will say the plastic for the fountain pen is a bit on the lighter side. This isn't necessarily bad, but I see it as more of a casual pen. I also think I would've gotten the medium nib as opposed to the fine since its a bit small, but some people like that for finer writing. Great stuff!EDIT: I've only tried the carousel pen and the bookkeepers brass ink, but I can't say i LOVE them, but its not bad. If i knew what i knew now, I wouldve opted for the medium nib, as the fine is just a bit too scratchy for me and I think the pen as a whole is just a bit too lightweight for my liking. The ink is a little light, but perhaps I'm used to more saturated pens, so if I press a bit more, the ink flow is alright, but that could be the nature of this ink. Very novelty brand but perhaps the quality is slightly comped. The customer service is still impeccable nonetheless and I still encourage users to try other things from this brand!

Summary: horrible delivery experience, over priced products, horrible website/inventory management, bad business practices, and insincere customer service policyOrdered two fountain pens and two bottles of ink from Ferris Wheel Press website (my first and only time). The website showed that all four items were in stock". Two weeks went by and I still hadn't received a delivery E-mail

I really enjoy their inks but this review is based on their customer service. I bought cream of earl back in late November from one of their stockist. However, I opened it just recently and found that it went bad. That is not suppose to happen. It was suppose to be a light pinky beige color but it was a green vomit color. I emailed their customer service on December 30 and they got back to me on January 4 stating they will send me another bottle of choice, and to let them know what color, as cream of earl is discontinued. I emailed them back the same day and haven’t heard from them since. I even sent a follow up email but no response. The only reason why I bought so much of their inks is because of their social media presence and a lot of influencers promote them. However, their customers service is leaving me a bad taste. This is not how you do business. I will not continue to buy any more inks from them and will message all their influencers to let them know that they’re promoting a business that doesn’t care about their customers.

I'm new to fountain pens, so I treated myself to one and some of the gorgeous inks. I'm a sucker for great branding, and the FWP aesthetic is incredibly beautiful! Delivery was prompt, and when I had a product missing, a new one was delivered just as promptly. I've had to learn how to use my pen and the tutorials were helpful. I've gotten several compliments on the quality of the pen and ink colors. As a cherry on top, I also discovered the free digital calendar prints FWP creates each month. I'm hooked and will definitely be purchasing more in the future!

Update: The customer service of Ferris wheel Press is outstanding! I had some issues with the ink and the pen and they helped me to get it sorted out. I must say I am very impressed! The slight disappointment I felt initially has melted away... :)Starting with the nice things: I ordered ink and a pen. The ink is beautifully packaged and would make a nice present. The nib on the fountain pen and the section are beautifully engraved. The pen writes well enough. Now the bad things: the products are extremely overpriced, the pen is very small, it would be fitting for a child. The design of the pen is not very nice, the bronze nut looks dull and doesn’t really improve the looks if the pen. The ink is nothing special, no shading and not a vibrant colour. I was rather disappointed...

I love it.

I received the Scribe Ballpoint Pen in teal as a gift and I LOVE it! I literally use it every day. It's a conversation piece too - people see it and immediately ask me where it's from because of it's beautiful design. It has a great, balanced weight in your hand, and is super smooth while you write. Big, big fan here!

I recently discovered Ferris Wheel Press on Instagram thanks to an artist and realized I had heard of them sometime before I think on Kickstarter . The artist had posted a video of her painting with ink process though, and I saw them and instantly knew that I had to do some investigating. I fell in love right away and I hadn't even received my delivery yet! The packaging and presentation is lovely and it translates so well in person too.I ordered their Fountain Brush Pen, the leather folio, their notebook, a set of pins and of course, three of their very beautiful inks. The colours are so stunningly vibrant. My current favourite is their Moss Park Green but their very recently released April Showers from their Morningside Collection is a close second.After trying their inks, I found myself ready to place a second order soon after and my collection has quickly grown. Their products are excellent quality and the craftsmanship is lovely. Honestly, they've paid attention to every detail and I plan on ordering again from them in the future.And while I'm not an artist by any means, I absolutely love to write and seeing some of my writing come to life with their gorgeous colours has been so wonderful. <3I hope my review helps someone new find your lovely company and beautiful products. I was an indiegogo backer and the Summer collection inks took a while to ship. Noticed a few other people had the same issue but they arrived today (December) with no shipping notification!It was worth the wait! The inks are really lovely, the colors are very unique. Everything from the product to the packaging feels like a keepsake. I'm OBSESSED with Timeless Blue.I've seen mixed reviews about the pen and my two cents is that it is a very nice pen. The price is hefty, but the pen is such a nice statement piece for you stationary collection. It's small and sleek but has a really nice weight to it. I love that the cap prevents it from rolling around!All in all, no regrets. If you like stuff that is both functional and stylish these inks/pens are right for you.
