My family and I went there on a Sunday evening. The ambiance at the restaurant was very pleasant. There’s wasn’t much people, the music was just fine. They said their bread is partially made at the restaurant but we found them to be cold and hard when it arrived to our table. The drinks were good and it didn’t feel like the alcohol was diluted or something.We all had different meals and everyone was pleased and filled with it. The soup was amazing!!I will definitely come back

We had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant for a New Year's dinner celebration and were amazed by the quality of the food and the great service. Le Pois Penché is a fantastic French brasserie in Montreal that offers an exceptional dining experience.From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel welcome and comfortable. The service was top-notch throughout the entire meal, with attentive and knowledgeable waitstaff who were always ready to make recommendations and answer any questions we had.The meal itself was a true highlight. For our starter, we had the foie gras with jam, which was absolutely delicious. The foie gras was perfectly cooked and paired beautifully with the sweet jam, creating a rich and flavorful combination.For our entrees, we had the filet mignon and halibut, both of which were expertly prepared and full of flavor. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection and paired perfectly with a rich red wine sauce, while the halibut was light and delicate, with a flavorful herb crust.To finish off our meal, we indulged in a delicious cream and berry tart that was the perfect end to an already amazing meal. The tart was light and creamy, with a beautiful combination of sweet and tart flavors that left us feeling satisfied and content.Overall, our experience at Le Pois Penché was exceptional. The food was outstanding, and the service was truly top-notch. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious French dining experience in Montreal.

Loved my experience there. Our waitress was super knowledgeable about wines and pairings, efficient. Food is expensive but worth the price. Beautiful setting; you can eat inside close to the windows (they remove them in the summer so you feel like you’re outside). I had the salmon tartare, meat and ice cream and everything was absolutely delicious!P.S. you have to have the fries with your meat they are amazing.

Incredible meal. Everything was delicious - we loved the steak tartar and crab cake appetizer. For entrees we had the mushroom cavatelli pasta and duck confit. Both were cooked perfectly and were rich and delicious. It’s an expensive meal but you get what you pay for, the quality was most definitely there. We will be back if we’re in Montreal again!

Really enjoy the lunch here. The French bread was crispy and soft inside, the steak was delicious and tender. The vegan option of cauliflower was beautifully plated and amazing taste. I also enjoyed the salad with pomegranate. Will definitely come back soon.

Everything is right in this restaurant. Food is fine, service is good, vibe is alright, not too crowded. The only missing thing is some signatures dishes. The food is tasty but not impressive that we will go back again.

Excellent! We ordered three New York steaks and a salmon; each cooked to perfection respecting each person's cooking preferences.Drinks were spot on, and so was the wine. Tony the waiter was very kind and helpful in his recommendations.I believe the beautiful and light atmosphere is created by the owner, who moved around the restaurant paying attention and ready to support each employee.All in all, a beautiful experience!

Their breakfast/Lunch never disappoints. I tried the lobster Benedict and it was fire! My friend and i also shared their crepes with the apples, it was the best thing that i ate in a while! Service in the morning is always the best! I also got the salmon Benedict another day that I visited. Amazing.I went for dinner at some point so obviously it was busier. Food was still amazing though service was a bit slower but it’s understandable.Overall i always enjoy my brunch there. It’s always an amazing experience.
