This is a bank, that doesn’t take cash. I’m not talking about the ATM but for paying their account fees with a teller. Also, teller (manager?) was a bit of rude. Ma’am you’re in the wrong career if you’re customer facing. I’m taking my business relationships elsewhere for sure.

Be aware! This branch exposes your banking information!!Went to this branch and requested a half month statement for May because it’s not available in online banking yet. Yueliang, the representative I was speaking with, said oh I need to charge you a monthly fee then. I didn’t ask to be switched to monthly paper statement, why do u need to charge me monthly for a one time print out??? Spent 30 mins explaining this request to Yueliang and she printed my account transactions on small slips of paper, which is not what I’m asking for. So I asked for the manager, and the manger is not there. Another representative named William came and said, you have online banking and an advisor, why can’t you print it online or ask your advisor! Well, it’s not available online and my supposedly advisor doesn’t respond to me. That’s why I went to the branch! So I asked for the manager, and she was not there. Waited 20 mins or so for the manager, Jenny Chu, to come back, she walked in and exchanged eye contact with Yueliang and William and walked right by me without saying anything. Came back a few mins later and looked at me and said what’s up! Didn’t introduce herself, didn’t ask for my name. Just a what’s up! Left branch and found out the statement they gave me didn’t include the information I asked for, so went back to the branch and another representative, Doris Zhang, was helping another customer. Once it was my turn, I told her what happened, and as she was explaining the banking system, I noticed my account transaction slips were still on the table. She was not the one who was helping me, but she was looking at my account information and she had them on the table while helping another customer! She was exposing my account information to a stranger! When I asked her, she said she was reviewing my account, but I left the branch already, you can’t review my banking information when I’m not there and she wasn’t even helping me when I was there the first time! My private banking information was laying on the table for everyone to see! Unbelievable!

This place is embarrassingly bad. They made it so hard for me to open an account that I drove all the way to Mississauga instead. All three of my visits have been disappointing, frustrating and full of miscommunication. Today, all I wanted to do was deposit a check that my boss had been a little messy with so I wanted to do it with a human to make sure there was no issues. They could clearly read everything but told me I had to put it in the ATM and if the ATM didn’t except it it was going to get mailed to my house within two weeks. This is unacceptable for a well funded business account.I only went when it was slow. Today at 1:45pm. I was the only customer and they still struggled to help me. I’ll never go back.

The below was what I wrote a few months back. Now it gets even worse as they got rid of all the tellers, and I mean all of them.You must now talk to the financial advisor for a simple bank draft or cash deposit.What this CIBC is doing is that the advisors will scan through your accounts and assets to sell you more credit cards or more useless accounts.I am going to close my account and go with someone else.==========================================================Went there several times and doesn’t matter how long the line up is, it is usually just 1 teller. One time the teller was chit-chatting with her colleagues in the backdoor in Mandarin THE WHOLE TIME while serving a customer.Another time I was waiting in line while the teller was serving a customer in Russian for 10 minutes. Not sure what the discussion is, but a 10 minutes discussion that does not involve looking at a monitor, going through any brochures make me believe this is not business related. I end up using the ATM and when I go check back at them, they are still at it.The only good thing there is ample of parking.

Nice setup, but don't be fooled... If I can rate with 0 star, I would have done that. Slow and extremely unprofessional staff...We went there to open a biz account. Were in the office for 1hr, and it's still not done. At 45 min mark, I inquired, how much more time is needed. The Senior financial representative" said

A once kind and helpful customer service branch, that got sacrificed in CIBC’s cost cutting efforts.Useless branch, things take longer, and if you have to talk to a rep for help, good luck because it’s all just advisors doing “high level” help. At this given rate, CIBC is going to replace everyone with robots.
