the owner kicked us out because we were teenagers and assumed we were going to steal. Was very rude and I have spent lots of money here just for this guy to disrespect me and my friends. Will never be coming back

I am moving and have to get rid of stuff....I found 4 records tucked away in my stuff and I do recycling so I looked for a used record store. Sloth came up and they said they would look at them and maybe buy them.....I knew I wouldn't get much, probably not even enough to cover fuel to get there but I combined the trip with something else errand wise. I dropped the records off and the staff was great and they gave me a few bucks; the records got recycled and someone will enjoy them. Did I mention the staff was great? My experience was good and I will call it 4 stars. It looks like they have a lot of discs there, so if you are looking for some music, I think it is worth visiting. You might find a treasure or two.

Rude staff. A vinyl I bought for 70$ was damaged and they didn’t even exchange nor refunded. They thought it was mishandled when I only played it once and it was like that when I opened it. Rude owner. I reccomend going to myoosik birds vinyl store or Melodiya records. Worst store in Calgary.

Awesome store for all Hip Hop and Metal lovers, don't think any other stores in Calgary having such great collection in these two genres! Fantastic deals on pre owned vinyl as well! V

We were quickly asked to leave the store as “we looked suspicious.” It was then made clear to us that we were not to be sold to as young people were likely to steal.

By far my favourite record store in Calgary! Their prices are always cheaper and more fair then some competitors and they have an amazing selection! I'm always surprised by something in their stock every time I visit, I find records that I think have been out of print or have had a difficult time finding. They truly have something for every taste of music, up to date pop and hip hop/R&B section as well as soundtracks. And of course they have bins and bins of old LPs, CDs, DVDs and even collectible books to look through.

Bought a copy of Ceremonials by Florence and the Machine when i got it home I noticed that both of the liner sleeves were torn by the edge of the records. Took it back just wanting to swap it for an undamaged copy or another record if they didn't have one. Had to have a 15 minute argument with the guy behind the counter who was absurdly rude and reluctant to take the damaged record back. I was accused of having caused the damage myself, patronized with the line do you know how to handle a record?" and told that Sloth could not serve my high standards (paying $44 bucks for an undamaged LP seems pretty reasonable to me). The guy finally agreed to an exchange
