Siegel's Bagels
I recently tried the Montreal smoked meat sandwich and the turkey club. They were good, but not amazing. The meat was tender, and the bagel was tasty, but they were lacking the wow factor. I suggest paying with a card as paying with paper money was a 10 minute ordeal.

The layout of the shop looks great, bagels being made from scratch and a wood fire oven and open 24 hours. That’s where the interesting part stops.Bagels themselves look fine, but taste very old and chewy. The deli meat used was bottom tier deli meat you find-packaged at the discount grocer. Dry and flavourless for $13-$14 a bagel with lacklustre condiments and veggies/spread. I purchased the jalapeño melt and the lox/cream cheese bagel.I feel this place has the absolute potential to be great and create knockout bagels with some creative focus and great ingredients to really make them feel special and actually justify the $13-14 price point.

Uhmmm....I honestly don't know what to say....which rarely happens.I adore a nice fresh bagel first thing in the morning and when I googled this place I was curious to try it out. I wish I hadn't.The service: I think she might have been sleep walking and stumbled her way to the cash register. Let's leave it there.The food: So, they have a wood burning oven but it's just for show. Both our bagels were not only frozen but old and stale and the egg was not fresh either. Their mini raspberry chocolate croissants were also old. All of what we ordered was of such poor quality and deceptive that we returned it and got our money back.We ended up going to our usual Jewish bagel deli where everything is fresh and served with a smile. Yeah.....fresh and with a smile....think about it!I wonder what they do with that wood burning oven if it's not giving customers fresh bagels?!

Delicious sandwiches although prices are expensive, my favorite were the Montreal smoked meet and the jalapeño, I specially found the fresh orange juice over priced (almost 10 box for a 16oz bottle). It's worth it once in a while specifically if you want to remember Montreal's smoked meet taste. The place was busy but the line went fast.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Siegels Bagels for the first time, and I must say, it's an adorable little place that's perfect for breakfast and lunch! We decided to try the Jalapeño Melt and the Turkey Breast. While the Turkey Breast left something to be desired in terms of taste, the Jalapeño Melt was an absolute delight and definitely worth a try. I wouldn't personally recommend the Turkey Breast, but overall, Siegels Bagels is a charming spot worth visiting.

Great chewy bagels. Price is only worth it if you get the day-old tbh. Sandwiches aren’t worth the price from the amount that you get. Customer service is really lacking, impatient and unfriendly. Parking is difficult, I would park far and walk here.

Great variety of bagels and cream cheese flavours (also vegan options). It’s a great stop for early morning breakfast before an adventurous day - they’re open 24 hours and conveniently located next to a Starbucks. I also recommend their freezer-ready day-old bagels, and make sure to try their rosemary rock salt flavour!

Bagel heaven! I had the chance to try a rosemary rocksalt bagel stuffed with Montreal smoked meat. I wish I had bought two, it was so fantastically delicious in its simplicity. The staff was very friendly and the service fast too!
