Relax Pools & Spas

I’ve been going to Relax for years due to proximity. Customer service is non existent and prices are extremely high (compared to other pool stores and online options). It wouldn’t hurt for the staff to smile or be friendly once in a while.

Worker are rude. Ask for help and they can't even come up with a solution. Funny stuff is that the worker said they don't sell pool stuff but they do. She was just lazy to help out

First I want to say that having an existing pool renovated is a challenge by itself here in Windsor. Most pool companies only want to do brand new installs and finding a company willing to do repairs/renovations was our first challenge. When we got down the list to Relax, Eugene came out to have a look, give us a quote and dropped off liner samples right away. Many other local companies wouldn't even return our calls.We have a large in-ground pool that is at least 30-40 years old. The liner was long past faded and sporting a few patched holes. We had been dreaming of replacing the liner for years.Relax gave us a quote which was in-line with our expectations and warned us that depending on what is beneath the liner, there may be extra costs to repair it. We had to wait about a year after we placed our initial deposit. Relax called us in late winter to schedule our work in the spring. Well... when the pool was drained and the liner peeled back to reveal a very, very damaged pool. The metal sides were rusted and the grout foundation in horrible shape. Relax let us know we were looking at a few thousand extra to repair. They ended up sanding and painting the rusty sides and fully re-doing the grout foundation.Relax also hooked us up with a guy who could repair our fibreglass stairs, savings us the cost of fully replacing them - they were full of bubbles and cracks.Once they began the job, Relax had several employees here almost every day working. They knew their stuff and answered our many questions.However, we did hit a snag when we discovered that combined with the high water table in LaSalle, and the farm field behind us draining into our yard... it was impossible to fully drain the deep end due to water constantly seeping in. Doing this job in the rainy season (April) was also probably a bad idea, but with how popular pools have become during the pandemic, I'm sure Relax had no choice but to attempt this job as early in the season as possible. It was a gamble for sure.The new liner was repaired and by the time the pool was half-full, suddenly a part of the grout foundation under the deep end collapsed. Relax came back out to drain the pool again, peel back the liner and try again. This time they used some serious concrete and used a water truck on our advice to try and fill it faster and hopefully apply the weight of the water before it can collapse. Luckily, it worked that time. It was a bit of extra cost for us, but Eugene was very reasonable. Highly recommend this approach for work in wet LaSalle.Once the pool was filled, Relax came back to put on the finishing touches, cut out the jets and skimmer, hook up our pump and filter and get everything running.Let me tell you... this was an *expensive* job. Came to about $10k when all was said and done. However.... oh my gosh it looks AMAZING. We are so so happy. The kids love it, the liner we chose is beautiful and all the struggle and expense was worth it.In Windsor it is hard to find contractors who won't jerk you around, fail to call you back, fail to show up or fail to do the job. Relax is none of these things - they were efficient, skilled and communicated promptly and honestly. We will definitely work with Relax again in the future.Thank you Eugene!

Amazing Service !! We recently bought our Vita hot tub at Relax, and received absolutely amazing service from start to finish. Ashely upfront was very knowledgeable , extremely friendly and very courteous. The delivery person Ivan was super accommodating and got our tub positioned exactly where we wanted it. We were referred to Eugene at Relax from friends who have bought a couple tubs , and so glad we went there. We highly recommend the team at Relax.

Dealt with Eugene and his fabulous team for our backyard Reno / pool install and we are so happy we chose Relax pools for the job. Did what he said he was going to do and now we are left with our little slice of paradise to enjoy as a family. We still use Relax pools for all of our pool chemicals, opening and closures each season. Truly a rare find dealing with such professional people. Wishing you all the best.

Eugene and his crews absolutely killed it on our pool and way beyond our expectations. He is a true master of his craft!!!Love how easy it is to have Relaxed test our water. Their team makes it very easy to keep your pool/spa healthy.

Very friendly service and staff!! My brothers pool was green and gross. They took the time to help him. Even sent a guy over to show him stuff. Cant say enough about this place. Very helpful.
