Revera Bradgate Arms

My mother has recently been staying at the Bradgate for respite for some serious falls as it is not safe for her to be at home alone until she fully recovers. Sharon (the Sales Consultant) prepared a very thoughtful welcome gift for my mom. She was really touched and was really impressed with the welcoming reception when she arrived. The move-in went really well, helped along by the friendly staff she met within minutes of her arrival. Her nurse was right on top of my mom’s low Blood Pressure. Mark, the Recreation Director got my mom’s Netflix working-a feat not accomplished by anyone for 3 months now when she had her first fracture. The Chef K.K. visited her in her suite upon arrival and introduced himself and spoke about the menus, food choices, snacks etc. I stayed for lunch and had a delicious bowl of soup. All in all, I think my mom feels at home at Bradgate Arms as she recovers from her injuries. Thank you for your help. Please pass my comments on to the staff. They made us both feel very welcome.

I am here as part often Respite program while I recover From broken legs! I received such a warm welcome from all the staff and that was the first afternoon. That warm feeling has continued. The staff is so helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Marc,Sharon PJthe nursing staff and housekeeping have all helped to make my stay very comfortable. I have the choice of eating in the dining room or room service if I’m tired.I’ve met some lovely people and have highly recommended Bradgate Arms to my friends. this retirement home deserves a 5 star rating. After a full knee replacement, I stayed at Bradgate Arms respite services. I intended to stay for two weeks, but my recovery was much quicker and stayed just over a week. Three full meals a day, a nurse checking vitals and my physiotherapist visiting almost daily made my rehab/recovery possible. With the pandemic, I was isolated in my room, but a mobile home pedal exerciser was also very helpful in my recovery.

I am a resident of Bradgate Arms retirement home and have lived here for over two years. My experience here has been wonderful.I feel as though I am at a lovely resort. The staff is great and so caring, and COVID has really brought out the best in them. All my needs are looked after including making my bed, tidying my suite, laundry service, and the meals are excellent. The activities offered are very good, although at the present time they are mostly on line. I have met some lovely residents, and made some good friends, and had interesting conversations. I highly recommend Bradgate Arms.

We recently made the move for our mom to this lovely gentle place. The unique apartment layouts are a perfect setting for individually appointed furnishings, bringing comfort and grace. Food, which is a very important aspect for seniors, has been stellar and the portions are perfect. My mom adores the recreation staff who have performed miracles to build community in a virtual environment - an incredible feat with senior residents! While the facilities are wonderful, what really stands out are the staff team. From your first touch point at reception, with the most cheerful of greetings, to the daily visits from cleaning staff, nursing attendants and PSW contacts, we get the sense that our mom is a valued member of this place. Ever accommodating, never ending patience, friendly and cheerful, we are so grateful for this dutiful care team and their attention.

My parents have lived at the Bradgate Arms for more than 2 years and I could not be happier!! They have a spacious suite which includes an outside deck, have delicious food delivered right to their suite - some of it is truly restaurant-quality - staff are extremely helpful and go out of their way for them. I feel absolutely great about them being there - total peace of mind!. Yes, it's pricey - but you get what you pay for - and Bradgate is absolutely top notch. My father moved to the Bradgate Arms in March 2021 from Montreal where he had been living with our step-mother in a retirement residence which was hit hard by COVID. We moved him after our step-mother passed away from the effects of a long illness. Needless to say, the strain of being confined to two rooms for months on end during the pandemic took a toll mentally and physically. I cannot say what an incredible change it was for him to be welcomed into the Bradgate - the entire team - front desk reception, staff, nurses - everyone was so friendly, so kind and supportive. The food is excellent - light years from what he was used to - and slowly he started to regain his strength. As a family member - I cannot pass through the lobby without someone welcoming me by name - asking about Dad. It's really a testament to the leadership and culture that the staff are so outstanding and responsive. We are grateful to Sharon who helped make the transition as smooth as possible, to Esther, Sam, Flor, Christine, Lilianna, Bernard and so many I know I am forgetting. After a terrible year, after losing his wife - it is such a relief to know our father is being cared for in a place that values and respects its residents.
