High quality docks, excellent service, going 10+ years strong. Made good recommendations on dock design and layout for the area. Cedar decking was fantastic and the bumper system make docking a breeze.

I purchased a Dewdocks around 12 years ago. It leaked the first year, the 2nd year and the 3rd year. It was constructed by a Dewdock dealer in the area who then refused to fix the problem. For the first couple of years Dewdock came each spring to empty the floats of water from the leaks but only if I paid someone else to remove the boards in the dock, which I did each year. 3 other friends of mine had purchased Dewdock the same year based upon my recommendation. By year 4 when the corner of the dock was 45 degrees in the lake they refused to return and never came back again. The Dewdock system is clearly defective and according to a few local dock builders I spoke with was always problematic.I am having my entire Dewdock system ripped out and replaced this year because it is virtually under the waterline.I am obviously disappointed by the quality of the dock and more disappointed by the after sales service.

Duane’s design of our dock was poorly conceived despite our clear specifications and despite his site visit for measurements which he took at low water level. Some of those issues: the pulley anchor system (he sold me four of them) is not effective due to the shallowness of the dock location so my dock is unanchored and held in place only by the hinges between the 14 ft ramp and the shore deck; the ramp is too large to be lifted onto shore at the end of the season and because this was the intention he didn’t design the ramp with adequate floatation to leave the ramp tied off in the lake for the winter; the dock was not built out far enough from shore so it sits on the ground toward the end of summer making it useless for docking a boat when the lake level is down. This is just all around bad design which is not the fault of the manufacturer of the Dew Socks system, but is wholly the fault of the designer/installer who does not back up his work. Rob and Duane have acknowledged the issues but it has been five years that we have been getting promises from Duane that he will rectify the problems but there is never any follow through. Terrible customer service - stay away from this installer.In addition, one of the three floats that were installed on the ramp broke off in the winter took on water so it no longer floats and cannot be reinstalled. No replacement has been provided despite the Dew Docks warranty.
