BUYER BEWARE!Horrendous customer service from the staff at this store and especially the owner!Rude, dismissive and argumentative is how I would describe our experience with the staff post-sale with At Home Decor.Since we live an hour away from the store we purchased the light over the phone (in good faith that this is an upstanding business) to secure the product until we could return on a weekend to pick it up in person.Only once we had a chance to bring the ceiling light home and attempt to install it did we notice that it had a lengthy rope component which was not part of the display in store.Unable to make it work for its intended purpose in our home we then began the process of trying to return the product (within the seemingly discretionary 7/10/14 day return window - wholly dependant on the owner’s mood at the time) by calling the store.I spoke on the phone with two separate staff members - that had confirmed with the owner then and there - that we could return it that coming Saturday.Living about an hour away a personal friend (with whom I work) who lives in Collingwood offered to make the return on our behalf. When he arrived he was stonewalled and denied the return.When we finally managed to reach the owner again she continued to argue with us that the product was final sale (reneging on her word) although it was not labeled as such, nor was that communicated to us at time of pick up or on the phone when I made the purchase.Her final words before hanging up on us were to the affect of, “If I do this for you then I’ll have to do it for everybody!”An unbelievably poor experience with this business and I would caution EVERYBODY to look far and wide for your home decor before ever dealing with this store.As a digital marketing and sales manager at Western Canada’s premier CBG franchise here’s a lesson for all businesses in the digital age:1) The customer always comes first.2) Transparency is the key to a successful sale.3) Your digital presence is your reputation in your community.4) Under promise and over deliver.Best of luck!

The young lady that was helping us could see that we were questioning the measurements of the side table we had originally come in to purchase. She suggested a side table not on the floor. After showing it to us on her computer, we loved it and purchased it. Fits perfectly in our home. Thank you. Sorry I don’t know her name. This purchase was made Saturday morning May 14 just after 10:00 am.

Beautiful store. Could easily envision furniture pieces and merchandise in my own home. Went on-line and order a table. The order was ready by that afternoon! Pick up was seamless. Table was wrapped securely. A beautiful piece and great service.

Well I guess from reading other reviews that nothing has changed !! I entered your store to enjoy a nice browse and was greeted immediately with follow the footprints. Not a hello how are you but a command. As a frontline worker I’m well aware of the need but it is a little intense. There was no one else in the store.Instead of defending this rude behaviour on several other emails maybe you should do some gentle coaching with your staff. I also asked for assistance with an item and was told the measurements should be on the tag. Like really I would not of asked if it was on the tag. Sorry to bother anyone I won’t be back !!!

We have purchased several times from this store. Most recently a beautiful sectional. They were professional kind and so easy to deal with inspite of covid restrictions. We were always kept informed and up todate . we are extremely pleased the appearance and quality of our purchase.

We are thrilled with the new sectional we ordered and purchased from At Home Interiors. We really appreciated the customer service we received as we decided on the size, colour and configuration of the couch. We were given a completion date of three months, and were so pleased when the couch was completed sooner than expected! No more sitting on camp chairs!!!!!!Once the couch arrived at the store, the delivery was arranged promptly and efficiently. From start to finish it has been a pleasure getting our sectional from At Home Interiors. Thank you to Marley, Rachel and Jan who assisted throughout the process.We have also purchased many decorative items from them and are very happy with everything. We would highly recommend At Home Interiors for all your decorating or furniture needs!

I was so impressed with your associate, Rachel. I was visiting Collingwood last weekend from out of town and shopped in your store twice. When I got home I realized I had the wrong size item (my mistake), and called your store to see if you could ship me the bigger one; Rachel was very kind over the phone trying to offer solutions and shipping wasn't the best option since it was a fragile item. After checking with management, Rachel called me back and offered to meet me at a location closer to my home to deliver the correct item; this was something she did on her own time during a weekend off. It was so thoughtful of her to do that and certainly impressive service that was out of the ordinary and simply out of her genuine desire to help me out. I will definitely be sure to travel to Collingwood again in the in the future and return to your lovely store. Kudos to Rachel and many thanks!

Purchased a floor model, it was tagged at a cheaper price than in their system. When I was given a refund to then be charged for the tagged amount the cashier told me I can only have a store credit for the difference and a refund was not possible after her error. Took a long time to get refunded and then charged for the correct amount.
