Beaconsfield Park Playground
This playground was replaced a couple of years ago so is in great shape. The replacement came with two integrated trampolines which are alot of fun! I do have a couple of concerns: the new playground seems to be geared mainly toward older kids who can climb the elaborate apparatus, the longer slide was replaced by a shorter one which isn't as fun (but probably safer), and they've introduced spinning toys which are not very practical (they cause major dizziness and a couple of them work on momentum so they spin faster and faster as you go - if a parent is not around to stop it, this can be a problem). One major safety issue is that there is a walking path directly in the way of the swings. When a child is swinging, they swing directly over the path. I've seen one unsuspecting child, and one adult being hit very hard as they followed the path through the playground. Also we don't enjoy the wood chips everywhere. What happened to good old dirt, gravel, and grass?

We love this park! Definitely one of our favourites in the area. The soft foamy ground is fantastic for the kids to run freely without shoes. The sand pit is so big! And the 2 trampolines are awesome. I wish there was a water faucet to actually make sand castles. Or to wash hands and feet! But nonetheless, great little park with various textures.

Big park with lots of room for soccer fields. A hill through to middle with flat surfaces top and bottom. Lots of parking on the street all around the park.

Love this park. Clean and and free of sketchy people. It’s also really well taken care of!

This is a fantastic outdoor park. They have a public washroom, a large flat grass field, two baseball.diamonds, a lit gravel football/soccer lot, two kids playgrounds, swings and an outdoor urban gardens. I also took a picture of the brick oven which is rentable from the Italian cultural centre. There are multiple trees for shade. Their is parking on all four sides but it can be limited during big events. It is close to some bus routes but you will still be looking at a hike. The play areas (baseball diamonds, flat grass field, or soccer area) are rentable from the city of Vancouver if you want to host a tournament or fun day.

The playground was renovated in summer 2021. The layout is new and fun for the kids. The most unique feature are two trampolines. Adults and kids can jump on it

Has 2 sizes of onsite soccer nets. Big enough for several sports like baseball & volleyball.

Our 3 year old son loves to play here with variety of things for him to do. Jumping on the mini trampolines, climbing on the big jungle climber, sand pit and slides ad just by walking and running the logs and rocks. The only sad part today that we have seen 3 big trees were cut down.

If you like trees and wide open spaces and potentially soccer fields and also a community garden and also a new playground, then perhaps you may want to stop reading this and go to the park
