Firebrand Glass Studio

Well established glass blowing studio in Alberta, homey and owned/operated by two of Canada's best glass blowing artists. I love their annual show and sale, as they both give demonstrations on how various pieces are made. I now know how the glass bowl I have in my living room was made. Very cool!

These guys are awesome. Very welcoming little studio who have made some incredible hand made pieces. If you want to try and appreciate the skill required to sculpt glass, they offer half day workshops. I've done this myself and had so much fun. Check them out if you are looking for a piece or even smaller gift ideas for loved ones.

I saw Tyler's work in a gallery in Edmonton. It was beautiful and very large. I contacted Tyler at Firebrand and he was easy to work with. He created a custom work, inspired by the work he did in Edmonton, but working within the space that we had. Its is beautiful and a highlight to our home. They offer open houses so you can view works in progress.A wonderful experience overall.
