Boutte du Cap Park

At the very end of the west coast is this magical place. It's worth the drive for these views. Not busy when I went Oct. 2nd 2021.

This park is on the point of Cape St George and is absolutely beautiful. If you wait here long enough you can have a taste of French bread baking in a wood fired oven.

One of the most wonderful places that I have EVER been to! No words to describe!

This place is really phenomenal. Many camping spots they're free and there's a good chance of seeing wildlife such as birds, sea lions and even whales highly recommended

We came here to see the Bread Oven at the recommendation of the owner of the Inn at the Cape down the road. This is the settlement of the Acadian French which we are surprised to see them in Newfoundland (we are from Nova Scotia). The Bread Oven has a daily occasion (12 - 2pm) for locals to bake in the stone oven under wood fire and distribute to anyone for free. The bread was really good and we had a little chat with the nice locals before we took off. I got why this is a great attraction for visitors from oversea and it's a shame the pandemic has cut down the amount of visitors significantly because this place will be definitely more crowded than when we were there.

Nice spot to stop, relax and take in the views! Also, they bake fresh bread in one of the outdoor ovens for a limited time of the day.
