I wish i could rate it with 0 stars, but 1 star works too. I took some photos for a European passport and in my country they have some strict rules about the photo on the passport and they didn't accept it (the photo wasn't taken properly off course). I went back to ask for a refund and i had the photos and the receipt with me and a letter from my embassy saying that they couldn't accept the photo (with the national stamp on the paper) and the guy didn't want to refund the money and he told me that they don't do refunds because its a small business and they lose money. Cheapskate Chinese people.

The new place we tried is excellent: Victoria Photo Studio in East Van. 5467 Victoria Drive, Vancouver, BC V5P 3V9===========================================================This has to be the one and only place to get passport photos in downtown Vancouver. Only a few blocks away from the passport office too.The photo on the left was taken at London Drugs last night. Texture was grainy, not to mention the colours were all off. $13.43 for 2 photos that were far worse than a mugshot.I just couldn't stand the idea of seeing this every time I use my passport for the next TEN YEARS, so a quick Google search came up with numerous good reviews of Superbest. Not a huge fan of Yelp but my pictures were so bad, I really had nothing to lose.The photo on the right shows how important it is to light the subject correctly. The details in the eyes (sorry, I blacked them out) were stunning. $15.67 for three photos to last the next 10 years. Totally worth it.A big thank you owner Anthony Choy for such a great experience and result!

I have had my passport picturefor my PR here. He know exactly what is needed and explain how to submit the pictures. Printed an extra picture and the owner said it's for my sweetheart.It took 5 minutes. Amazing service!

When I took my passport application in, I was told twice that the photos were really nice. And that is the truth, they have nice contrast and the colours shine through. For $15 and change you get the required two photos for the passport application and one more to keep and look at for boosting morale.

We came here to get some Permanent Residency photos. After having questionable results over the years at various places, including London Drugs, there's no way I'll go anywhere else. The service was friendly, quick, and super professional. He knew exactly what he was doing, and the differences between the requirements for various types of governmental photos. Also, very reasonable priced.And, if you n imagine it, ID pictures that actually look good!

I believe I caught the business in a change of ownership. Processes had not landed. Based on the great reviews, I went in for my US passport photo. Unfortunately, the specs weren't met and my photo was rejected, causing me to come back for a re-take. They did that quickly, but it still cost me 45 minutes round-trip. Frustrating and I could not be bothered to ask for my money back.

I took photos for my passport here and I actually look like a normal human in the prints.Unlike my other quick/passport photo place, the photographer actually takes time to adjust the lights to your skin tone.My print were ready within 5 minutes.I do recommend this place.

I have had 2 photos done now - 1 Australian passport, and 1 US Visa. In both cases, the same guy was very helpful, very friendly and his photos are great to look at while you're waiting a few minutes. Apparently this is where a lot of the consulates themselves get their photographs done and I can see why - this guy is a real professional!

This place is the best. I have had my PR and Citizenship photos taken here. He know exactly what is needed for every one, has a great set up and also is a cool guy.

I just got my passport an hour ago. It was quick and painless and the picture actually turned out really great, even without being able to smile. The staff there was very nice and obviously knew what they were doing. I don't need to get passport photos often but if I did I would definitely get them done here.
