Potluck Caribbean Cuisine
Do not waste your time or your money ordering at this restaurant. This was my go to spot for years! I think the chef has changed now and the food was disgusting. The rice was hard and stale. The oxtail was disgusting and I only got pieces of fat. I went in early because they NEVER make enough steamed vegetables so I wanted to go early to make sure I could order that with my meal and the portion size of the steamed vegetables was a JOKE. They literally gave me half a teaspoon of vegetables for a whole meal that I ordered. I threw the food in the garbage and I will never ever be ordering from here ever again. I will also let all of my friends, family, and coworkers not to ever order from this restaurant because it is such a waste of money!

Potluck Caribbean Cuisine
This place has really fallen off. Got a large jerk and the container had more rice than chicken. The flavour is good but not enough to justify a pretty high price point and a weak serving size. With a ton of other Jamaican spots in the area why would I settle for this? My advice is to try some other spots in the area before you set your mind on Potluck.

Service wasn't the best. Lady seemed like she didn't want to be there and they didn't have jerk chicken. Like what? I got the BBQ chicken and it was burnt. Also only had white meat. I wanted dark. First and last time coming here...

Rang to inquire about the dishes available for breakfast and, was greeted in the most warm and welcoming manner.Had the ackee & salt fish meal and it was delicious. Savoured every bite! Would definitely repeat and highly recommend!

Man. Every complaint here is on point.Poor quality food. Check.Pathetic portions. Check.Angry unenthusiastic woman working. Check.The bright side is that there are more than enough Caribbean restaurants in Mississauga that you have an array of options. The downside is that people won't read these reviews, and continue to spend their hard earned money here, keeping them in business.But don't worry folks, places like these that decide not to improve don't stay in business that much longer.Message to the manager. You put Caribbean cuisine to shame.

This has to be worst Caribbean restaurant I've ever been to. I originally wanted to order fried dumplings but surprise surprise they didn't have any dumplings. Why is never having enough food a common theme at Caribbean restaurants? Asked to see the menu and the lady said they didn't have a menu to show me. I should have walked out at that point but hungry got the best of me. Ended up settling for ackee and salt fish and festivals. The lady only had two festivals left and the meal usually comes with three. I figured she would have given me a discount since the meal was short one festival but no. She charged me full price, which was $14. Major rip-off!I will never patronize this place ever again or recommend it to anyone!To the restaurant owner, please take a restaurant business 101 course because you need it.

The ladies working here are soooo helpful and kind. The curry chicken is so authentic and flavourful. I had it with the rice and peas and steamed veg and it was all so delicious. Their Festival was so fluffy and light! Will be going back again :)

Worse servings ever at a restaurant. Rice soft and soggy. Salty undone jerk chicken with no spice, no side pieces ( plantain, dumplings etc). They seem to change chefs, because been there before and it was good. This is not Jamaican Food. Close this place or do better.

I used to come here frequently about 2 years ago and the food WAS amazing. Today this food is going straight into the trash. It's garbage. Rice was stale, hard, and flavorless.... Chicken was D-R-Y! It was pale white chicken, no seasoning inside, no flavor in the meat, but some very bland water gravy with slight jerk seasoning (like one teaspoon of the grace jar of jerk seasoning with 12 cup water)

A nice little Caribbean restaurant located in Meadowvale town center. Did you have your standard fare of staple Caribbean food and for the price and how much food you actually get it’s actually a very good value. As the container that I brought home was packed to the brim with food and if you’re not a super heavy eater can last you two meals which I always appreciate. The food was quite good, though nothing too spectacular but because of the value of the meals I can’t argue with that! As a $10 meal here will fill you up more than any $10 meal at any fast food chain
