I got a small piece of sushi grade salmon at the store. The price is reasonable. By the way, best to call to get the flash-frozen sushi grade fish, so the fish is thawed. And let them know raw fish using for sushi.

A wonderful local seafood shop that imports fresh and frozen, high quality products. I was EXTREMELY surprised with the owners courtesy, customer service and kindness. I will happily be returning time and again because she is absolutely wonderful. Thank you so much for such a positive experience!

From reading the other reviews I thought this place would be a good spot for seafood. They did have what I needed and I bought some extra stuff as well but I won't be going back. I now understand their 1 star reviews. Even though they may have some good product the lady serving me, I'm assuming may be the owner was very unfriendly. It felt as though she had no patience for me and I may be wasting her time. Mind you there wasn't a line up outside the store and I wasn't taking my own sweet time. I'm only giving 3 stars because the seafood I bought was excellent but the service is poor.

Came in looking for sea bass, was welcomed warmly with an amazing staff member who I later found out was the owner and operator, and was served well beyond my expectations. We just had the sea bass for dinner and it was the best sea bass we have ever had! And we’ve had from a few places! We have referred this place to 6 people who are interested so far and will definitely come back. Very very pleased and impressed !!

I was looking for a whole octopus and called here Friday. I was told there was none in stock but might be getting some in the order the next day. Maxine was very helpful and took my information to call back when the Saturday order was delivered. Maxine called back on Saturday to let me know she had some more in stock. Excellent customer service!!

We drive an hour each way to come to his store and have never been disappointed with the quality of their seafood. The owner is pleasant and helpful, and obviously takes great pride in her business. Great selection of fresh and frozen, and love being able to buy fresh oysters. We especially appreciate being able to phone-in and reserve our order, so we don’t make the drive and find they are sold out!

Hi just a note to say what a pleasurable experience it was to deal with Maxine the new owner of North Sea fish Market. Yes the product was great, I bought haddock and, upon Maxine's suggestion I tried some fermented Cod Livers (the taste is amazing!). I guess the best part is how endearing Maxine is, down to earth (east coast style), truly knowledgable , and always open for a good conversation. That's why I give the company two thumbs up. Perhaps this should be their Stop for the fish… but stay for the conversation. Just a thought.

So my fiance bought us 2 bags of Crab for my birthday dinner and they were AMAZING.We went to costco a couple days after and saw that the crab there was at least 3x more expensive and did not look anywhere near as good as the Crab we got!I have a Crab obsession and will be visiting often!!!!

Went in here knowing absolutely nothing about oysters. Staff was super friendly, helpful and they even demonstrated how to clean and prepare the food. Would recommend to anyone. Fresh and delicious.
