Days Inn by Wyndham Thunder Bay North

We checked in very late at night and had my 20 month old grandson with us. He was car sick so when we arrived at the hotel, We needed to tear his car seat apart and throw everything into a washing machine. The front desk gave us laundry soap since we weren't able to locate the vending machine that sold it. We were very impressed with the room. It was spacious and well laid out and very clean. The beds were very very comfortable and my husband and I had a great sleep.Since our room was very close to the breakfast room, getting the continental breakfast was easy and everything else was super accessible for us. The breakfast was a typical continental breakfast and I wish there was more choices but you could be adequately fed with what was there. The lady operating the breakfast room was very friendly and struck up conversations with various guests who had been there for a while. Everything was filled and kept very clean.I found this location very handy for the hospital. I had multiple appointments and getting in-and-out of these appointments was quick and easy from this hotel. definitely something to consider when you are doing early morning or late night medical appointments at the TBRHSC.The only thing I could say that could be improved is the snow clearance in the parking lot. There should be sidewalks to the side doors but there was a lot of snow making it a little more challenging to get in-and-out and to park.I will definitely use this property again!

CLEAN, COMFORTABLE and FRIENDLY STAFF! Our room was one of the nicest we have ever stayed in. The staff was friendly and that is rare these days. I actually canceled our reservation at another hotel chain because the customer service over the phone was horrible. It was refreshing to show up and be greated with a smile and people who seem to enjoy their jobs. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to Thunder Bay. You made our first trip to Canada great!

One of the higher priced hotels that we stayed at but a very good experience. Front desk staff were very welcoming. Regional hospital is next store so they get a lot of business from patients and family and they seem to be so empathetic. Room was decent size and bed and linens very clean and cozy. Breakfast was “continental “ except for a pancake machine that keep acting up for patrons. The breakfast attendant was so accommodating… poor lady trying to work the machine. I stay away from those things. Had a bagel and crème cheese, banana and some coffee….and off we go to SSMarie.

Stayed a few nights ago. A blood stain on comforter the size of my phone. We were so wiped out from driving we threw it on the floor. Next morning I took picture and went to front desk. Cleaning lady there didn't even lift her head when I was speaking to lady at desk. Terrible

Very comfortable and clean rooms. Nice selection for the free continental breakfast.

Location is great if your looking for something close to the Hospital. But it's a little dirty. Old. Needs updating. Although the person caring for breakfast was awesome. Very personable, nice and attentive.

The worst “free breakfast” I have ever had at a hotel. I couldn’t believe it didn’t offer any protein option, only carbs.

Best pillows and bed. Great sleep. I wanted to take a pillow, I didn't don't panic☺️. Complimentary Breakfast was tasty, staff were always checking if things needed filled.
