Rum Runners Speakeasy
We had dinner here a week ago, very very disappointing, we knew it was not a run of the mill cheap menu but actually it was very run of the mill food, my husband had a seafood pasta dish which he said was very bland, I had the salmon which they described as having seasonal vegetables on the side, the vegetables were red cabbage and sauerkraut (YUK) I don't expect that at a high end restaurant, the music they play is ancient and were in our 60s, I will say that the soup was very good but we won't be going back there.March 2014

Rum Runners Speakeasy
We stopped in for lunch and after sitting down, we heard a lot of chatter in the back by 2 people. It was not a discussion of buisiness. After waiting a while and no one coming out, I said let's go. If they had a bell on the door they could have taken home an extra $30. or $40. . We were actually looking forward to trying their menu . Perhaps another time......

You walk up to what looks like a shack, open a screen door, and step into an amazing culinary experience! The food was outstanding as was the sunset over the St. Clair River!

This is a favourite of mine. Very quaint little restaurant along the St. Clair River and walking distance to the Sombra boat dock. Great food and pleasant staff. I love that it has a patio to sit on and enjoy your meal.
