I got one email from them after applying for a bunch of the hrit posted positions and then never heard back. Lame.

Myself and husband walked into their Victoria street location in kitchener to see if they had any open work position, the strong scent of marijuana was all through the office, the lady left us standing at the front desk only to tell us it was not actively seeking candidates for employment while others were testing for positions. This has left an extremely bad taste in our mouths and we will not sign up and work for any employer such as this. Thanks

They advertise jobs they do not have. They are also condescending and rude

My experience was degrading and left me feeling very uneasy and a bit useless. Filling in forms are one thing, doing an apptitude test for a temp service was new to me and the questions I found not related to the employment I was seeking. I was applying for a domestic type of employment and found the questions to more concerned about whether you could defend yourself if neccessary or if you would just be a woosh and take crap from people. I must be a woosh because my answers were declined by a machine, who stated I was not a labor ready canditate.I guess with the way the unemployment is nowadays, even temp. services can be picky, chosey and make u feel useless,because if u don,t fit this temp. service, your chances at another one are nil to none. Thank you for your time.

I signed up with Labour Ready and it was pretty painless. You do have to go through an orientation and testing. It mainly health and safety videos. You can expect to go through the same type of intake at any other agency. The jobs they offer are blue collar type of work. I was looking for a clerical/administrative type of a position. I should have done my homework before signing on. I was referred to other agencies that would find me employment in office duties. The ladies are friendly, helpful and easy to work with.

NEVER ever sign with THIS COMPANY. You fill out all this info on yourself, and yet still get asked questions… and 2nd was given 3 different jobs in 3 continuous days, and either didnt need ppl or last minute pull outs by the company. Ive wasted so much time with these guys when i could have already been working. Also i have screen shots of text messages..

Horrible agency. They tell you one thing about the job over the phone, then add countless qualifications needed everyday after the phone call. Stay away

Very worst experience with these guys at cambridge officeOne employee is saying that you can go to work and have to collect the work ticket and when i called for work ticket they said that they are waiting for confirmation.

the test they put you through seems more concered with if you are into fighting than what kind of job you want and if you fail its just a waste of your time
