Marten River Lodge
The staff were always available, professional, and went the extra mile with their customer service. We were on the American Plan and the food and service were excellent. We did a fly-in and a back lake adventure with two different guides. The guides were very knowledgeable, friendly, and put us on fish. This resulted in a great shore lunch. The fly-in and back lake fishing were fun and great fishing experiences. If your looking to stay in a rustic cabin this is the place. Very clean and comfortable with all of the necessary amenities. The owners, Tania and Peter, were true to their word about what the lodge offered from the time we planned the trip back in March 2022 to its end. Special thanks to Chef Peter, Jennifer, Brian, Derek from Marten Lake Lodge and Darren from Lakeland Airways in Temagami.

Marten River Lodge
It was a delightful experience. Great location, great service, great meals, great equipment, great people. The four o'clock happy hour was one of our favourite events each day. We were a party of 5 and everyone thought this was a great place to go fishing and we are all interested to do a return trip.

Thanks to Tania and Peter for a week that we will always remember. The whole staff are wonderful. Food was great. And the hosts went out of their way to make this a fantastic trip. I can't say enough and only wish I could give more than 5 stars. Can only hope that we can do this again someday.Thank you so much!Jerry and Alex

Marten River Lodge
Anyone looking for a beautiful lodge, I would highly recommend the drive up to Marten River Lodge. Owners (Peter/Tania) are the nicest people. Derek and Megan were great fishing guides. Chef Peter out did himself with every home made meal and dessert. Everyone was welcoming and made you feel like part of the family. The lodge, cabins and dining room were immaculate. We have been to several similar establishments and this is by far the best place we have ever been! Beautiful, quiet property right on the water. Looking forward to visiting again next year!

Place was simply amazing. Owners we super great. Very helpful. Cabins were all clean. They even come and start a bonfire for you. Fishing was a bit slow but we did enjoy our stay there and recommend it to anyone. Oh. The boats were mint!!! New seats. Unlimited gas and bait. No hidden fees too. Give them a call and you will not be disappointed.

Marten River Lodge
We just returned from our second stay at Marten River Lodge and had another fantastic time! We spent our honeymoon last year, and our anniversary this year fishing in the beautiful waters of Marten River. The cabins are rustic, and very clean and fresh. The food made by chef Peter was absolutely delicious! Serving sizes are more than enough for even the biggest eater. Go light on lunch! Tania and Peter are great hosts, very accommodating!

Such an awesome time. We celebrated a friend's birthday and the owners were amazing at accommodating us. One of the staff even made a birthday cake for us. The fishing was great too, friendly guides and the shore lunch was definitely a unique experience. Highly recommend.

Amazing place to stay. Cant say enough good things about it, and nothing negative to say.The owners go above and beyond to make sure that your stay is perfect. Good food, comfortable beds and clean cottages. Loved every minute here. Very accommodating to our 5 young kids. Definitely home away from home and can't wait to go back.

What a spectacular experience we had. From the time we arrived we were treated like royalty. The back lake guided fishing trip and shore lunch was an experience we won't soon forget. John and Johnny were awesome, even if the fish were a bit elusive. We still caught enough fish for a wonderful shore lunch with fish, home fries and bake beans. The meals that Peter cooked for dinner were out of this world. Great home cooked meals fit for a king. Every night we would come back to our cabin with a campfire already made and roaring for us. I would highly recommend this location for anyone looking for a great fishing trip and to be spoiled rotten. Thank you Tania and Pete for a tremendous vacation.

Had an absolutely fantastic experience, lots of fish,great food,amazing people. Did the back country guided fishing trip such an enjoyable experience, our guide Derek put us on fish and we had an amazing shore lunch.
