The Covered Bridge
Cute pedestrian covered bridge about 56 paces long. Built in 1992 spanning the convergence of the Eramosa and Speed Rivers in Guelph. My visit was late at sunset, many ducks and geese were flying in to rest for the night and the bridge was beautifully lit with different colors. Two small plaques appear on two posts facing each other, indicating that they came from a willow tree that grew on the site.

A charming old- world structure which still has the old-wood smell. Good place to stopover for some memorable pictures. There is a wide trail next to the Eramosa river which can add value to the visit.

The Covered Bridge
Iconic Guelph. This is a gorgeous airy covered bridge of thick interlocking wood. Doesn't seem to have a metal frame. It's very beautiful. The views of the river in the morning are stunning season round, even through the lattice. A tourist photo spot must. And should be on any downtown jogging route.

Covered bridge is a great meeting place for walks. It is a central point of several great trails in parks. There are also a number of great places nearby to go for a coffee afterwards.

Spanning the Speed River just before it converges with the Eramosa River this picturesque covered bridge is a useful shortcut between York Road Park and Royal City Park.

The Covered Bridge
What a cute little bridge. One of the very few covered bridges that I have been to. It is in a park so go there for a picnic and stroll. There is a good ice cream spot near by. Worth the walk.
