Sardis Fellowship Baptist Church

I have been attending for 16 years. Nothing to say but that it is a great place to worship and grow in your faith.

The first day it felt like coming into a welcome family gathering even though no one knew me or of me.The smiles and nods that were directed my way were reassuring and so welcome, even of those just rushing through the main foyer headed to whatever area they had their focus on. Being alone I sat alone yet the gazes of acceptance around me were likeOintment from the Lord himself with what he speaks about each of us through His eyes. Lots of love, laughter, care and so much more. My heart delighted to be surrounded by such lighthearted activities of the kick off Sunday. The service itself so down to earth yet worshipping in song of which several I have not heard before. The message by Pastor Rob was another delightful yet needed sermon on how we are created to be a community, and how we are important to God's Plan - each and everyone one of us.Being a newby both in church and city I thank Sardis Fellowhip and those who are a part of this fellowship a thank you for this surprising and delighful welcome. Looking forward to see what the Lord has planned for my future. Already walked away with a friend at the end of the service to the point we went for lunch. Praise the Lord for his generous heart in knowing what we need and the provision thereof for not only I but my new found friend and whom ever else was blessed this last Sunday September 11th 2022.
