Yeondon Ball Katsu / 연돈 볼카츠

We ordered the ball rose tteobokki (pork) and a mini original ball bites. The Katsu balls were very juicy and packed with flavours, next time we will try it with the cheese add-on option. The rose tteobokki was not too spicy and the sauce complimented with the Katsu ball very well.As much as we enjoyed our food, the pricing was a bit higher than I would have liked. Would definitely recommend trying if you are looking for a snack!Much appreciation to the staff members who were very friendly and helped us set up tables and chairs on the patio for our large group (6+). They were also very informative about using the kiosks to order and answered our questions about the menu. Thank you for a very pleasant experience!

Mmmmmmmm mmmmmmm mmmmmmmm! First time eating at this place. Ordered online, easy straight forward ease of use interface. Once order is ready you recieve a text notification. Ordered the Ball Katsu Rice Bowl along with the 5 pack Ball Katsu Original. Both chicken. Order took less than 15 mins. Food is super delicious and juicy!!As soon as you take a bite out of that ball katsu, it hits you with that delicious juicy flavor. Definitely will go here again!

The Ball Katsu sliders were very unique as while they looked small, they were very juicy (similar to a meatball). The teriyaki slider had a good amount of sauce on it where it stood out.Definitely makes for a good snack on its own but as a meal, recommended to have it as part of a Rice Bowl or Curry Rice. It’s also a small portion size for just one Ball Katsu so it will feel a bit pricey for one or as a slider.

Went here for a quick snack since I was passing by. The gyoza was good. The ball katsu was okay. It lacked flavour for me. It needed more seasoning.

Tried the ball katsu curry rice bowl for lunch and quite enjoyed the flavours and textures of the dish. The rice bowl comes with one sliced up katsu and a good amount of rice and curry sauce. The ball katsu was really crispy, and seasoned well with lots of onions which I loved. The curry is the familiar, good ol' Japanese curry. The only issue I have with it is that the ball katsu was pre-fried so although it was tasty and still crispy, it wasn't hot enough.Service is lovely. there's a couple tables in the back, maybe 4 to 6 seats.

Gave this new restaurant a try and was pleasantly surprised! I've never had Ball Katsu" before but it was like a lightly crusted meat ball that was flavourful inside and tender.We opted to dine in and the service was attentive. You initially order on 2 machines but food and service is done by staff. Proper cutlery

Ball Katsu salad was yummy and the food was prepared quickly and service was good. The katsu balled was fried nicely. The outside was super crispy and juicy on the inside. Paired nicely with the fresh salad greens. Had a nice spicy kick too. I like that there is a salad option. Would come back to try other items on their menu and the different type of ball katsu.I'd recommend giving this place a try.They have a small area also to sit and eat inside.

My friends visited the place for a snack and lunch. We ordered tartar chicken ball katsu, pork cheese ball katsu, and chicken cheese ball katsu. They are quite tasty, and cheese was nice. The ball was fried well. But all items we tried had distinct meat smell and taste which could have been controlled through marination and meat choice and handling. Marination was not strong enough to make this a unique snacking item in katsu world. Also, the price is quite high for the size we got. We decided that it is not worth our money to come back.

Little shop that’s super clean and welcoming.So excited to try the ball katsu and nice they expanded from downtown to north york so quickly.The katsu portion was so nice and crispy and the cheese has such an awesome melty oozy pullThe meat felt almost as if it was steamed as opposed to a firmer fry which I would’ve liked to feel a bit more texture, but overall still quite yummyThe service was great. Attended to every need we had and always with a smilePrice wise, I think it is a bit expensive soft the portion size but there is a lot of ingredients that go into the ball katsu which can kinda be justified.Totally something to try! We got one of each ball on the menu, the katsu balls were really yummy! Good crunchy texture and really juicy meat on the inside with lots of onions and some diced veggies. It wasn’t too salty either. I do have two complaints, one were for the sliders, the sauce to meat ratio was underwhelming. It was a dollop of sauce on top and inside there was none left. And the curry rice ratio was also very disappointing, too much rice and not enough curry. Otherwise good location near the station, and fast service!
