Some good indoor soccer and hockey leagues run out of this facility. Great for staying fit in the winters and meeting friends. Wish the boards and fields were maintained a little better as they allow lots of abuse from lacrosse and baseball practices. Haven't tried hockey yet here. Boomers is next door and right now our Tuesday games are followed my wing night there!

Amazing facility for sports and education. I wish the concession stand in the back could be reviewed separately, as it lowers this score from a 5 to a 3. I'd rate the concession 1 star at most, the food is overpriced garbage. Eaten there twice now, spent over 10$ for a simple meal, and was disappointed each time. Got a corndog with only half the corndog covered by batter, and a completely tasteless cheeseburger that tasted like a piece of ham slapped between two croutons. Even if you are STARVING, it's better to eat somewhere else.

A good place to play indoor soccer. As well hockey. 2 field/arena for each sport. Boomers for pub food. 4 jugs of beer...5th one is free!!Gym there too & 250m indoor track. Great for the winters!

There are only 5 indoor fields in greater Kelowna. CNC has 2. Wish they would offer a drop in price when fields are not in use for the kids to get soccer or field hockey touches in.

Capital News Centre(CNC) is located in the Mission and next door to the H2O Centre and the YMCA/YWCA and Mission Sportsfields. You will find two sheets of ice,(plus a small kiddie ice in the winter), two indoor soccer fields, Skatemill, upper level gym, track, lower level personal sports training, Physiotherapy clinic and public Library. There is a large seated area and concession as well as Boomers Bar and Grill. Due to COVID operation hours of the food services vary. In addition you will find two meeting rooms which can be rented out.Plenty of parking. Beware of the giant pothole at the top of the centre lane when you first enter the parking lot.The Sportsfields have a number of soccer fields and baseball diamonds and Football/field hockey turf.Great place to go for a walk with the dog or run. There is a nice path that runs around the entire CNC and Sportsfields. You will also find an off leash fenced dog park.If you like golf, behind the CNC and Sportsfields is access to Michaelbrook, which is a nice 9 hole golf course.

Excellent facilities. Whether it's ringette, indoor soccer, or skating lessons the capital news centre is awesome. Well staffed, and superbly maintained.

I watch my boyfriend play indoor soccer here every Wednesday night. Great facility to spectate and play at. Great hockey arenas with two indoor soccer fields. Food and drinks available. Clean facility and friendly staff!

The man working on Saturday wearing a brown beanie was very nice. He answered my question, checked up on me, and proceeded to try and fix the heater for us! Great staff! Nice work

We really liked the place. Our kids had a hockey game there. There are two hockey rinks, one circle ice surface for leisure skating, indoor soccer field, concession with large seating area, 2nd floor fitness. Large parking space, clean and bright inside, dressing rooms are good size, viewing area in the cold with on demand heater. Really enjoyed our time there.
