Excellent communications, detailed quote , helpful and showed up when scheduled, complete removal of oil furnace and tank, Installation of new propane furnace and helped out with getting new tanks installed and setting up a new account with Superior Propane. Highly recommended.

Wow!!!!!! is an understatement for the service and care provided by this company.Our oil needed to be filled as we burned through it quicker than usual. We needed oil before our regular schedule from our initial provider. I had no idea we ran out until I woke up this morning.Of course, this happens the day we are set to have a cold snap.I panicked and called our regular furnance oil delivery company. They said no, couldn't get us on the truck til next week. I called 20 other furnance oil delivery companies. That is not an exaggeration. The response was a resounding no - they are too busy - go get some Diesel.My last call was to Barracuda. I was desperate. I spoke with a woman named Heather who had impeccable customer service experience. She demonstrated empathy and care and made me feel like a priority.The owner agreed to have a delivery made today for us. I am in tears. Actual tears.Within 2-3 hours the truck was here filling our tank. The gentleman who delivered the oil and went a step above by making sure I knew how to get our furnace back on.I am blown away. I have never in my life experienced customer service to this degree from any company. Ever.I want to say thank you Barracuda. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. You made a stressful situation into a positive one. You have a fantastic team there.I will 100000000% be using you when we make our switch to propane. There is no better customer service in HRM then with you folks.You are phenomenal. I wish I could do more than write a review. I will be sharing this experience with every person I know.

Our hour didn't have heat this past week, we called them at 9 am, and they didn't show up until 4:30 or 5 pm, and claimed that we would be billed at time and half as they were called" after hours"

Beware!!!!!! They installed our heating system in Feb 2022. It was not working properly from January 2023, they gave us visit for maintenance after 2 days of warranty period ended in February , and found out that valve is gone and need replacement. If there intentions were actually to give good customer service they should have given us visit within warranty period, and now they want to charge us around $500 for changing valve. Any big and genuine company would have replaced it as it was just 2 days more from 1 year warranty and also they should have visited us before warranty ended for inspection of their product.

It's our first time to use oil heat house, our friend recommend us that Barracuda is the best In HRM! We're really appreciate for everything they did for us! Amazing and patient customer service especially the nicest front desk guy in the world! Thanks again we'll be your loyal customer for ever!

We made the switch to Barracuda last year and have been impressed with all aspects of their business. We recently had heating issues and they were prompt and efficient in coming to fix the issue. Can't recommend them enough!

This company is top notch. Everything about Barracuda is professional and excellent, from your first contact to the receipt of your payment confirmation. The techs are skilled and polite and friendly. Office staff are responsive and quick. I'll never have a different company in to service my oil furnace.

Barracuda has been looking after the furnace in my home for many years, and many years before now for my parents. They are honest, reliable, and their people know their business well. I now get my oil deliveries from them, and they are always available when needed, usually within the hour. I look forward to a great business relationship with them for many years to come!! The fact that they are local is another added benefit.

Furnace failed during the weekend on a cold night. Received a quick response to my voice mail , a prompt visit by a very capable and pleasant technician. Problem solved . Very grateful and pleased.

I recently invited 3 heating contractors to quote on an oil-to-propane conversion that I will be undertaking immediately. I invited Barracuda to quote on my job based on positive Google Reviews and the fact that they are a local contractor... I'm BIG on supporting local!!Although I decided to not hire Barracuda, I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. Cory, the technician/installer/estimator, was very professional, very thorough, and he was very patient with me (he answered all of my questions). His price was sharp, his boiler recommendation was top-notch, and he gave me very good advice (which I very much appreciate!). In the end, losing my business was not Cory's fault, he did everything right. It was a photo-finish" and ultimately I decided to go with a different installer because they were offering a different brand of boiler. And I don't want to knock the brand of boiler they sell
