We had dinner at Passero on Valentine's Day and loved it. Both the atmosphere and service were amazing and we loved the food. Would recommend this restaurant!

Excellent food, great flavours, exceptional service! Not only did we enjoy the food, our server was very good. Explained how each dish was prepared, and was diligent in ensuring there were no allergies, which could be a real issue considering the dynamic nature of their menu. Be prepared for smaller portions and a communal dining experience! We will be returning to try other items. Thank you!

Best restaurant in Winnipeg. Tuna dish was fantastic. All pasta dishes were amazing, better than what we had in Italy. Everything made in-house. Service was excellent!

One of the best restaurants in Winnipeg HANDS DOWN! My whole experience from start to finish was absolute perfection.Every sharing plate I had was outstanding (Who knew a salad could taste so good? Of course, homemade campanelle pasta with short ribs? What is there not to like... And their cauliflower - their CAULIFLOWER!), and my two glasses of wine (sparkling and red) both paired well along the tasting journey. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, chic but comfortable, and the staff were amazing, spot on with the wine pairing suggestions (here's a tip: pick your dishes *first*, then ask your server for wine pairing suggestions to go with your meal. Valuable advice for visiting any restaurant for that matter), and they came to the table often but without overdoing it.AND, after I left, they even made the effort to track me down through their reservation website to let me know that I had left my sunglasses there.TOTALLY WORTH THE $$$!

Really enjoyed Passero’s menu this time around. The Lobster Carbonara and Tuna Carpaccio was very good. Service is great, as always!

This was a bachelorette celebration dinner with my sister and I, needless to say, this was one of the best things we did our entire weekend. Probably our favourite meal too! The food was a delicacy in each bite, handcrafted to perfection. The ambiance was so intimate and lovely. The service was prompt, friendly, and generally wonderful. Both of us will come back separately when we find ourselves in Winnipeg again without a doubt.

The food was delicious and waiter we had (mike) did an amazing job explaining each dish. Prices are normal for what you get. Wish they had a longer list of cocktails but other than that it was a perfect date night location.

This is the restaurant we chose for our only night in Winnipeg. A wonderful experience with delicious vegetarian plates. We loved everything we tried and if you are hesitant, go for the Brussel sprouts (picture number 4)!

My partner brought me here for my birthday and it was lovely!! The cocktails were nice, but the food really sang. You have got to try the squid ink risotto and arancini. The service was friendly, prompt, fun, and helpful. We will definitely be back.Only note is that we asked for warm olives for appetizers with the arancini, but it was forgotten. Not a big deal AT ALL, and it was left off the bill.

My husband and I dined here with another couple last night. The restaurant is located in The Common, so it is a bit loud but small and quite charming. The service was great, everyone was super friendly. Each couple had 4-5 dishes, the portions are very fair and we were all full afterwards. We had the burrata, sourdough, brown butter cauliflower, lobster carbonara, and beef short rib. Our friends had the prosciutto, warmed olives, sourdough, the brussels, and gnocci. Everything was absolutely amazing. Our favourite dish was the lobster carbonara and the brown butter cauliflower. The one thing I will say is that we were served one dish at a time throughout the night. The 4 of us were not sharing our plates, each couple shared their own dishes. One couple would get a couple dishes in a row and the other couple was waiting a bit for theirs. We sat there for 2 and a half hours, so it took a while to get the food. We didn’t mind though, because we were with great company. We will definitely return. Make sure you make a reso well in advance!!
