Cape Spear Cafe
Great place! This is a wonderful addition to the Cape Spear experience. Lots of in door or outside sitting. And on the cool days it's great to be able to get a hot delicious coffee!

I was really hoping this place would be good and worth the hike up the stairs! However, it wasn't.The atmosphere is lovely, the inside was very well done with lots of seating! The tables were clean as well! However, the good really does end here. The service here was pretty poor. My girlfriend and I waited about 30 minutes for the fresnal sandwich. The staff were friendly though which was great! The food was terrible and definitely not worth the long wait. The tomato chutney was very sweet and overpowered everything, besides the pear. I could barely taste anything else like the chicken or greens. The chips on the side were tasty but there were only about 5 chips on top that were hiding the rest of them, that were crushed to crumbs. We also split a chocolate chip cookie, that was pretty good but it's hard to have a bad cookie! So when you pay 22 dollars for a gross sandwich that is pretty much just sweet tomato and pear panini and a bunch of crushed up chips, it's not funI really hope this cafe can learn from somebody's unpleasant experience! I will be back at the end of the summer to try this again and I will update my review accordingly.

Absolute disappointment: poor service, not even clean coffee table, staff was available but chatting between each other. To all of these rather expensive prices. I can understand that this is a touristic place, and people will come and go and probably will never be back again, but this is ridiculous as so many locals may also come and enjoy the view.

Nice place on Cape Spear, you can see whales and icebergs from here if you are lucky. Fresnel sandwich is tasty!

Café looked beautiful. Indoor and outdoor seating. A lot of stairs to walk to the café. Beautiful scenery and ocean view from café. Baked goods tasted delicious! Plenty of appealing menu items including traditional Newfoundland and Labrador style food. Café offers picnics. A couple of vegetarian items. No cash accepted at this time.Server/Cashier seemed inexperienced but was fine.

An amazing cafe at the eastern most point of North America. The setup is really cool with absolutely stunning views from the cafe windows. It's open until 6pm so you can grab a bite or have a coffee of your choice from that cafe. The coffee was average but getting that in such a remote location is heavenly. Would definitely recommend having a quick bite

Lovely atmosphere. The place was very busy and not enough staff for the numbers..The chowder was very tasty. However, if eating inside, I shouldn’t have to eat it in a cardboard bowl and worse again a flat wooden spoon!!!With limited seating and large numbers waiting to be seated we did not feel we should be taking up seating for a long period and therefore went elsewhere for coffee and dessert.
