I live at one of Cortel Group's developments (2916 hwy 7, Concord, ON).This building is horrible. Walls are thin and I can hear my neighbors talking in their units. So annoying when one of my neighbors decides to make Tarzan noises 6:30 in morning. Or have parties all the time during covid. Usually elevators don't work, it's over crowded and some ignorants don't bother to wear masks.It's just impossible to have a relaxing day in this building.No visitors parking.No proper cameras installed in elevators and parking areas.I can't wait to move out and never buy or rent anything from this builder.

From the initial call to the end process, Cortel Group is always professional, friendly and polite. I would strongly recommend against buying anything built by Cortel Group. We have lived at 297 Oak Walk Drive (their Oak & Co) development since it went into occupancy on the top floor.We have suffered from two separate leaks from the ceiling that have caused significant disruption to our lives, with the most recent being a chemical leak from the mechanical room that requires a full stripping of the dry wall in multiple rooms over a number of days.Think carefully before you deal with them.Update: a week later, another leak has started.Update 2: As you can see, Cortel has responded two weeks later. The problem is still ongoing with no fix in sight, property management has been made aware of the issue since the beginning, but the issue is remains that the unit, which Cortel built, remains in the same state. Beware.

I rarely post reviews on Google - only where service providers go above and beyond. As a recent new homeowner, I'm delighted to say Cortel Group have been excellent throughout the process. Responsive, professional and extremely competitive pricing - the team have been wonderful throughout and a pleasure to deal with.Having gone through the process and now living in my dream home - it's easy to see why Cortel Group are considered world class in their industry. 5 stars and would recommend to anyone.

Trash company with fake reviews to distort reality. My experience is specific to the Oak & Co. joke of a project.Tenants are treated as second-class citizens. They literally turn their nose at you if you’re not an owner. Any questions, issues, concerns must be filtered through the owner of the unit (who, by the way, are mostly investors living abroad, and have no skin in the game when it comes to day-to-day living in the unit). This creates a bottleneck of unresolved issues and constant miscommunication: “Please have your landlord authorize this before we can respond to you” for every single minor issue.They have the gall to tell the landlords that they’ll respond to tenants as a one-time courtesy after begging them for an answer and some basic human decency.If this builder did not want tenants living in their buildings, then they should have made that clear. I would not have chosen to live in one of their properties had I known this prior to signing a lease and moving in.Aside from this, the quality of their workmanship for new units is embarrassing. Gaps in flooring, leaky glass shower doors, paint smears all over the place, light switches and outlets not grounded (there are literally loose wires in several outlet boxes that I opened and checked). As a ”welcoming gift” I also found a Heineken bottle in the fridge upon moving in with drywall mud on it - I wonder which of the trades left that one?

Been emailing them about issues since February. Never get a response. Avoid.From the first day I picked up the keys to the condo, the manager had a terrible attitude and was rude towards my elderly parents, who may not have been able to hear or understand her.I understand COVID delayed a number of things, but at every corner, they’ve failed to show professionalism, responsiveness or care to address issues. I’m not calling or emailing often, but even after leaving 2 messages and trying to follow up via email, you just get ignored.I need another condo unit but honestly going to sell and work with a different builder.

Oak & Co developmentI had a very satisfying experience dealing with Cortel Group from beginning to end. The staff was very informative and they provided me all the support I needed with admirable attitude and the highest professionalism.The Cortel Care staff have always listened and replied promptly. Great customer care from PDI to occupancy closing. Since occupancy (October, 2022), Simone, Chrystal, Joe and the rest of the Cortel Care team have been very helpful in addressing any issues I bring to their attention. This company is really bad! A warning to all looking to purchase a new condo with this group, they use the most cheapest products to build their condo units, for a quick sale. After 2 years of a new condo on 2019 Highway 7, simple elements like shower facets, toilet, aircon/ heating and building spot lights break down. Once you pay the deposit you are stuck. My flooring after 2 years is cracking, mould in the building is terrible.
