Best Little Hair House

Samantha is like my 6 week therapist! I always look forward to my appointments with her. Not only does she make me feel my best with my refreshment but she interacts with me more than any other hairdresser I’ve had! I connect with her more than I ever thought I could. She remembers our past conversations and always makes me feel special and important. Going to the Best Little Hair House is not just about feeling beautiful and back to your normal bad b*tch self by the end, but about feeling important and heard. Will always rate 5 stars, and will always count down the weeks until my next appointment.

Have been going to see Sabrina since 2020. She's donated my hair and transformed me from long brown hair to short hair with blonde highlights and is now working at the process again. Truly a hair magician.

UPDATE: The owner reached after seeing my review. She explained the woman that did my colour was new to it and asked if they could have a chance to make right. I felt reluctant, but thought, everyone is a beginner at some time. Ive been back, and I'm delighted. They were able to correct the color, and we're very professional. To me, this is excellent customer care, and shows real pride in their business. I have already booked my next appointment!!My regular stylist and I had a communication breakdown. I was getting grayer than the Penticton skies, and needed a colour asap. My daughter has sworn by Amanda for years and I tried getting in with her, but she was booking 3 weeks out. I took an appointment with whoever had time. Huge regrets. Left with a Dark brow line, looked like a clown. My hair looks like a helmet. No shine, just matte and flat. Won't be going back.

Amanda has done my hair a couple of times and I LOVE how it turned out. She's a pro with coloring and gave me a great cut too! Ashley gave my 2.5 yo daughter her first ever hair cut and was wonderful with us! She was patient and kind and managed to trim while my kiddo was moving around! The cut turned out great, we will be back for sure!

Unwanted 5+ inches cut off the left side off, which she then continued to put major choppy untextured layers throughout my left side of my head, not the right side...I asked for a trim to blend in the 2 layers down past my shoulders I was growing out...and she sliced off a huge chunk while asking if I was familiar with a cut technique...normally hairdressers making huge cuts start small and ask how you feel about that length.. not grab the top layer of your hair and slice it off.The management can reply all they want to insult the clients but pretty sure this picture speaks for its self. I didn't cut my own hair..

Had my daughter’s hair done for her prom as I wanted her to feel good on her special day and my daughter’s hair lasted the ride back home I had to redo her curl’s, the hairstylist never prepped my daughter’s hair like I was told needed to be done. I told the hairstylist that she needs a lot of hair product in her hair for the curls to hold and she didn’t do that. Not a place that I would recommend or go to to get your hair professionally done for a special event. It was a waste of my money. Won’t return.

Samantha is an absolute color unicorn, she did my hair perfectly! She explained what was achievable and would look good, was honest about styling and products, and is so personable. I'm already booked in for my next appointment. Also, the shop is adorable and clean, and everyone was friendly.

I love it here. Amanda has always treated me amazingly and was able to get the black box dye out of my hair and bring me back to blonde (if you know, you know, this is like next to impossible). She knows how to work with my curls and always has great product recommendations that really work and make my hair feel awesome.
