I manage a storage facility and have had the pleasure of working closely with Scott, Steven and the team for the last two years. I work with many different movers but Lion's Gate Moving always stands out. Their attention to detail. The care they take with people's belongings and their ability to maximize every inch of storage space is truly amazing and to top it off they are genuinely great people to deal with.Every person I have recommended has expressed how thrilled they were with their move. Collected a bunch of quotes from different moving companies and went with Scott and Steven @Lions Gate Moving because of the initial conversation and reasonable quote. Friendly, communicative, small moving business. Showed up on time, with all the supplies and moved all my stuff without incident or damage! Plus, they disassemble and reassemble furniture including my IKEA bed frame from hell. Cost me $~750 for 3 movers (can pay for 2 or 3 per hour) +moving supplies (mattress/couch wrap, wardrobe boxes) for just under 4 hours to move a small 2 bedroom apartment. Would use Lions Gate Moving again!!

We were very happy with the team for our residential single detached home move. The work was done in an efficient manner and we were billed according to our initial agreement without any surprises. Follow up service was also excellent. Would definitely recommend this company!

I had a very very positive experience with Lions Gate Moving last weekend. After many bad movers experiences before that in my life. This was the best by far. I was moving within the city from a one-bedroom sunken basement suite to an apartment building and was given a very reasonable quote of three movers (so it would be fast and efficient). They showed up on time with a huge truck, and 4 movers came! They assured me that despite an extra mover it wouldn't go over my estimate. And it didn't! There was actually a small savings at the end of the (very short) day. They were all super friendly and super strong! Everything got moved safely. Nothing was damaged or missing. We even had a few laughs along the way. I literally couldn't say enough good things, and would reccommend them to anyone.

Made a difficult move end in smiles!The guys helped us move two basement suites into one condo! We had a wonderful experience with Lions Gate Moving! The movers were organized and quick, and had us moved in and out in no time. The process was seamless and efficient and we will definitely use their services again in the future.

From the first communication with Scott through the entire move, the experience with Lion’s Gate Moving was positive. I was looking for someone to move my Mom from a large two bedroom condo in Victoria to a smaller two bedroom apartment in Steveston. Scott responded immediately to my inquiry and provided me a quote that was very reasonable.On the day of the move, the three man team lead by Steven was there exactly when they said they would be there. After some initial review of the contents and identifying the items that required additional care, the team went to work. My Mom has a lot of stuff and the guys were so careful and packed things so well that we had ZERO breakage. There was also no damage to anything in the condo and no damage when they moved the contents into the apartment in Steveston.For the move in, the team grew to five people and they moved everything in within a few hours. The team was respectful, professional, polite and patient. I would highly recommend Lion’s Gate moving for any moving job you might have.

scott and his team were amazing! My husband and I had a large, rather complicated move. We were moving two homes; one from Mission and the other from North Vancouver; and he arranged the entire move with perfection. His lead mover (I can't remember his name) took the van out to Mission and loaded up the smaller portion, and then came to our townhome in North Vancouver and loaded up. Everything fit perfectly, other than our outdoor plants. My husband and I had to stay in a hotel that night as our furniture was already packed up, so the owner of the company showed up the next morning at 6:00 am to pick up our outdoor plants and a few other things (at no cost to us). My husband and I left our hotel the next morning and when we arrived in Vernon at our new residence, they were already there waiting or us. Nothing broken; nothing lost; everything in great condition! and they went above and beyond to help us arrange, put together beds etc. All after a very long, exhausting few days. Great team! Great owner!
