Szechuan Restaurant
While nothing extremely remarkable other than the spiciness, if you're looking for some traditional Szechuan, then this is the place you should visit.Noodles are great though I would say other than the Dan Dan Mien, ChongQing noodles, the Beef Shank Soup, and the Mapo Tofu, there's nothing else that really strikes my fancy. That doesn't mean that I would not visit this place again as, in actuality, I am a regular.One thing you should take note of is that while there are four levels of spiciness, the fourth being traditional, they do prototype you and often serve you something that isn't equivalent to the level of heat.

The service was quick and great. We had heard so many great things about this place and we finally got to go on the weekend. but the food wasn't worth all the noise. The garlic sauce was flavorless. I just didn't enjoy the experience. maybe we ordered the wrong stuff. But we ordered seven dishes, and none of them were satisfactory.

This place never disappoints. They have an ample selection of dishes, and everything I have tried is delicious. I strongly discourage from getting the mild" version of dishes

I had been here a few times whenever I visit Calgary. It had always been okay but last time was very disappointing, the food didn’t taste like before and the vegetables were not chopped properly. They were so big!

One of my favorite place for Szechuan dish craving. The restaurant layout and design are definitely not what you would typically see in a Chinese restaurant. There are dead space areas and a lot of fake plant decorations that accumulate a lot of dusts. The seat cushions are gone which makes it uncomfortable, and it needs a cushion update. The color theme is quite earthy and not something I would associate a Chinese restaurant on my first impressions.The service was adequate, staff were knowledgeable of the menu and providing recommendations and modifying our spice level. We ordered Crispy Chicken, Basa Fish Soup, Fried Rice, Mapo Tofu, and an Eggplant with Pork dish. I recommend all of the dishes we ordered, it had the right amount of heat and numbness without being too overly spicy. Do not rush in eating these spicy dishes, take it slow and let the heat take you in.I would go back again, and try other dishes.

This place was exactly what I wanted for proper authentic Szechuan food. The Dan Dan noodles was amazing. Sweet vinegar basa fish was mouth watering. Ma Po tofu was spot on. On top of all this, the portions were fresh, and large! Flavours are all there and the place is very comfortable. I will be returning very soon!

The food is consistent and has been good every visit. They are usually understaffed so be patient when asking for refills for water, rice, and napkins.

I usually cannot handle super spicy food, but luckily this place has non-spicy options. Service was amazing! Food was really good and yes I tried a bit of the Szechuan fish and damn...it has heat!

Re-edited Post:Went there for supper on a weekday, got busy very quickly. Our server was super friendly and warned us that food will be a little while as it is busy. However, once the kitchen gets to your order that make sure they serve your order entirely. Loved the enthusiasm of our server!We tried their shredded cabbage, Dan Dan noodles, spicy fried chicken and Basa fish in hot sauce. Ordered Medium spice and boy was it ever delicious!!Great spicy szechuan food and complimentary tea.Only down side was a few wobbly chairs.
