I have been a long time customer of the Kackenhoff's. I take my kids to see the fish pond in the store and they love it when we pick out our bedding plants! I get all my garden supplies and great advice from the staff. Kackenhoff's has even sponsored a small community garden plot down in Osborne Village I work with. I have had substantial landscaping completed, ordered soil to top up beds and re-did my grass with them to improve drainage. Years later the work is still holding up. Great advice and excellent services.

Tried to leave to qork today they decided that they would park in the exit of our back alley instead of on the road when I pulled up I xant squeeze by and I got another car behind me as I'm honking they're walking away from the truck ignoring me and the lady behind me then one approached and started saying it's not my problem while cusing at me

We called to get the availability and price of four skybound cedars. The owner told us that he had one 6ft for $64.95 and four 8ft for $480. I was sure that I confirmed that $480 price is for all four 8ft cedar trees. It made sense if the price for a 6ft was $64.95 then the price for a 8ft was $120. Once we were there we bought few maple trees as well and negotiated the price of four cedars down to $380. We loaded two 8ft cedars and maple trees but ran out of space on our truck. The owner asked us to pay for the maple trees only and come back for the remaining two cedars. Once we got back and gave him $380 he said it was for one cedar and refused to load the remaining two cedars. We ended up paying him $190 for a 8ft cedar. What a calculated ripoff! Adding to the insults were we went to another nursery Lacrosse and bought three 6ft skybound cedar for $39 each. Don’t be deceived by the sweet talking “old gentleman” owner. I wish I can give zero star!

Checked it out for first time. Was asked if i needed help shortly after and ended up with some great perennials. Good selection and my wife and I were very pleased with the help. We will be back for sure.
