Only airport I've ever been at where you can't get a cup of coffee. Perhaps Giovanna Verrilli (CEO)will include passenger experience and comfort whilst dealing with the pandemic recovery. Afterall this airport is an AOE. Should be managed as one and not as a private grass strip.The restaurant was closed at 9 am and the vending machine was unserviceable. Time they get tst. UPDATE 2 months later and still no coffee!

Very bad experience. Had an emergency flight scheduled to Ottawa at 7:15am. On the way to the airport there was HEAVY fog, and ended up arriving about 20-30 minutes prior to the flight. I had already checked in online however I still needed my boarding pass. I arrived as soon as I could to the counter to collect my boarding pass and there was no one there, I then asked staff if there was anybody who could help me as I had already checked in and just need a boarding pass and they replied very rudely and unprofessionally to just go and wait at the counter, I waited at the counter like they told me to do so and nobody showed up and it was getting close to boarding time (NOTE: Boarding HAS NOT begun yet, ALL passengers were still waiting in the lounge). I then asked the security if there was anyone who could assist me as I’m getting worried about missing my flight, so she went and came back a few minutes later just to say, once again in a very rude tone; “You’re not gonna fly today. You’re late, too bad” I then replied that I was not late as I was here prior, I had already checked in online and I was told to wait for someone to show up at the counter for my boarding pass. She then replied “There’s nothing we can do, too bad you should’ve been like everybody else” I then entered the screening area and had said to the staff members there who were at the boarding gate that I have an emergency in Ottawa and the plane has not begun boarding yet and I already checked it online so what is the issue with receiving a boarding pass? When I asked to speak with a manager One of them them replied with very low class while throwing his hands up in the air and said “That’s not our problem” “We don’t have a manager” I then tried to explain my situation but I was just ignored. Each staff member at Sudbury Airport treated me with the most disrespect I have ever experienced and made me feel like I was nothing . There was absolutely no effort whatsoever to try and help me and instead just tried to make things even worse for me. I live in Sudbury and use airports often I have never experienced anything like what I experienced here. P.S. The flight ended up being delayed/cancelled due to the fog. Their actions and behaviour to me were absolutely unnecessary and unacceptable.

We were scheduled for business class travel from Sudbury to Calgary with layover in Toronto. We were denied boarding with a reason that was stated as cause we had a cat with us (??) There was no explanation given as to what is wrong with having a cat and air Canada website outlines that passengers are welcome bring their pets as long as instructions are followed and we followed the instructions. We arrived with enough time before boarding and others were still boarding. We were told we had to call if we bring a pet but there are no such instruction on air Canada that call is required when booking a flight there is not even a phone number!!! We followed instructions in terms of the pet carrier we brought in and this was simply discriminating behaviour against us for no clear reason. Moreover, the lady who worked at the counter just left us standing there for around 50 minutes with our toddler saying she went to speak with the office and be right back and then she never came back!! This was horrible and we can’t even call Air Canada reservations cause the line is too busy and our calls get dropped, we tried many times. Don’t fly from this airport, the staff knows absolutely nothing and is unprofessional and disrespectful, we will not leave it like this until we are compensated for what we had to go through. If you experience same behaviour, please don’t let air Canada and the airport to get away with it, share your experience, they have to learn how to stop what they are doing to paying clients

I’ve always found everyone at the airport to be friendly and helpful. I’ve been in and out many times over the years once needing a tire pumped up late one night another time having security check on a lost bag for me (which is above and beyond and would never happen at other airports). The place is pristine, the bathrooms immaculate thanks to Simone and the rest of the cleaning staff. I miss the restaurant but many businesses struggled with covid, hopefully as flights increase again it will reopen. Keep up the great work! Thank you.

Really loved the airport. The staff were ready to offer assistance when looking for the parking meter. The lady at the Air Canada front desk was really helpful as well. Dropped my mom off at the airport and the security officer was a real gentleman, assured her everything was going to be alright. Thanks to the entire team at the Sudbury Airport for a great travel experience.

AC staff are very friendly and helpful. The airport itself needs some amenities. Not many charge outlets for devices. Flights are frequently delayed and all flights are on commuter airplanes, so no charging on flight.
