Ocean View Motel and Chalets

Room had horrible smell of some unknown cleaning product". Opened all windows and put on both fans and 3 hours later it still hadn't dissipated very much. No bath linens in the room -had to ask twice. Towells we were given at the office looked thrift store items

A nice view of the ocean right out our window. Unfortunately our room had fumes coming up from the basement.

Great location. Beautiful views from our wooden front deck. We stayed at 2-bed room chalet and everything was very clean. It was equipped with microwave, toaster, coffee pot, mini fridge, dishes, cutlery. Lady working at the desk came from her home when we arrived after 9-pm. She was extremely warm and welcoming. Definitely recommend staying at Ocean view of you are staying in Cheticamp. Very very happy with our stay…

This is an old style motel that your grandparents used to book back in their travel days at best. Old musty smell. Old rough towels. Not overly soundproof. No bedside table for anyone who needs to have a CPAP machine. For the price, you can very likely do better.

This is very much a 3 star chalet. It's very basic, which I suppose is fine if you are just sleeping here. However, everything is VERY outdated and there definitely needs to be some upgrading done. We would have greatly appreciated quality towels, salt that did not have a dead bug in it, bars of soap in the bathroom and quality dish soap to clean the dishes- little amenities like this make a vacation much more comfortable so perhaps this is something to consider. The front door window on our chalet was in dire need of repair as there is a large hole in the window and cracks throughout. Some of our windows did not have screens and the ones that did had tears in them that were patched up with Band-Aids! This should not be acceptable. On a more positive note, the staff was friendly and the view and location are beautiful (especially at sunset).

Great location with ocean view and proximity to the Skyline trail. A spacious, clean and functional room, with microwave, and kitchen utensils.Staff are friendly and efficient.

Great location. Beautiful views. Everything was very clean. We stayed in a motel room and were pleasantly surprised that it had microwave, toaster, coffee pot, mini fridge, dishes, cutlery. Staff were easily accessible and checked in to offer clean towels etc. Walking distance to restaurant, Me Chicken, ice cream shop and Robins coffee shop. Directly across from Arena and golf course. Highly recommended!!

Really enjoyed our night at Ocean View Motel. Rooms were very clean and smelled great inside. Beautiful view of the ocean just outside the window it was really nice. Beds were very comfortable, honestly had an amazing sleep! Lady working at the desk when we arrived, I didn't get her name, but she was extremely warm and welcoming. Definitely recommend staying at Ocean view of you are staying in Cheticamp. Very very happy with our stay!Stayed a second time. This time in a chalet. Still excellent service at the desk. The lady on the phone and the one who greeted us at the front office were extremely nice! Room was clean. Enjoyed our stay again. And will probably be back again!

What a beautiful spot to stop on the Cabot trail. Sunset was spectacular!! Surprised by a broken box spring, making for a horrible night sleep. BUT after mentioning the issue to the office and requesting some form of compensation, Management came through with a 35%+ discount. I'm pleased with the customer service and the prompt response. I would give them another chance if I'm ever in the area again.

Ocean View Motel is a lovely spot conveniently located with fantastic views. The staff are friendly and helpful too.
