I have been buying box of hard chicken from this place for over two years so I am not leaving a review just because. Recently I purchased a box of chicken which I always get which cost $90 based on the weight.I paid and they put the box inside my car, while I was driving away I noticed a really bad smell coming out of the box, but I ignored it hopping it was coming from the packaging. I got home opened the box and the chicken were not completely frozen. Which was kind of disappointing. Then again I the smell was taking over my kitchen. I ignored the smell and cooked some of the chicken and put the rest in the freeze, after it was cooked I took a piece and cut it up and took a bite, at this point I realized I was sold rotten chicken. I called captain food and made a complain hopping they will either apologize or exchange the box/carton of chicken. But no they told me the supplier said nothing was wrong with the chicken and promise to call me the next day. I never got a call back. Now I’m stock with a box of rotten chicken. If you go here to get chicken make sure you check it before you leave to make sure you re getting your money worth nd not rotten meat.
