Small park across from the main entrance of Wilfred Laurier University. The park features seating, greenery and a statue commemorating Canada's soldering legacy.There are also informative displays about Canada's role in the World Wars.Veterans Green also features 3 pokestops and a Gym for Pokemon Go players.

There is a nice monument in the park, but I often go here for Pokemon Go. This spot has regular Dratini that spawn, and 2 pokestops with lures regularly.

A quaint but monumental park, the feature statue is quite impressive and worth visiting, with the secondary placards giving a concise yet quite informative account of how the houses immediately visible and near to you were constructed for Veterans returning from the War.The park itself is small but well maintained, there are a few metal benches available for seating, it's a nice place to spend some time on a sunny day.
